Chapter 2
9:45 p.m. June 14, 2014
"Are you ready to get fucked?!" The DJ yelled into his microphone
I quickly bought a bunch on shots as our first round of the night! Thank you fake ID's! I was so happy to see all my friends when the cab dropped Isaac and I off! I quickly hugged and side kissed everyone and until I came face to my ex. Isaac's friend Jake. I thought he wasn't coming and maybe I would have a night off from three years of getting stalked by him after breaking up with him my freshman year, he was a junior. When it was his turn to get greeted made no sudden movement as though I saw a bear.
"Well, its been a long time.." he basically was completely looking down on me because I am like 2 heads shorter even with heels
"Yeah, but I mean we are older now. I think we can civilly talk? I guess." what was I supposed to say! I felt a hand on my right shoulder and then a squeeze. Isaac, thank the lord!
"Hey, Jake! How've you been?" he pushed me to the side a bit and did the whole "Bro-Hug" thing that all guys do patting eachother on the back
"I've been alright! Working hard with my dad, going go to community college!" he smoothed his hair a bit, definitely uncomfortable now with the conversation, good!

*Flashback/ explaining*
I met Jake at a house party this girl who I played Softball with! The only senior I knew, or was friends with. I was drinking of course vodka soda, while sitting on her couch watching everything happen! I mean it was my first ever, "Highschool party" I wanted to take it all in while I was still in the moment! I felt the couch deepen and I looked next to me to find a boy with long hair and curls at the bottom, wearing a button down red plaid shirt, with light wash cut jeans! Funny how I remember this to this day still. He was drinking a Carona with a cigarette behind his ear.
"I have never seen you around before?" taking another sip of his beer
"I'm Savannah, freshman." I said turning a bit in my spot.
"Freshman? Who do you know here that you got invited?"
"I know Lacey! We play Softball together and she is a family/friend."
"Cute. Cheers!" we tapped both our glasses
From that point on we talked the whole night. Not even getting up for more drinks due to someone always passing out more but it was nice to not have any awkward moments and let the conversation just flow, perfectly! We didn't do anything that night. But exchange numbers. And that's how we started.. From October 22, 2010 up until our dangerous break up August 28, 2011. Thinking about it makes me cringe. And a few months later it got worse and worse, but then I notice Isaac.!
*End of Flashback*
