A woman sat in an office chair, surrounded by nothing but what looked like millions odd filing cabinets never making a sound. The room wasn't dark enough to create a horror feeling, but at some points in time it seemed to. A desk was there with a laptop, charging and open, showing an empty document. It didn't produce a sound, but something else started to. The woman's eyes didn't move to the door across from her desks but to the shoot where, suddenly, a clear plastic container had appeared. It was ten inches wide and thirteen inches tall, it could hold quite a bit of papers possibly around seven pounds. The only thing sealing it was the string that would wrap around a button on it before sending it down. When the container had hit her desk, landing there, she grabbed it before opening it up. The light from her laptop gently shined onto the woman's body as she held the container, revealing she had skin of a near white color and her lips were a soft think pink glow; her eyes were a gentle brown with a hint of blue trying to show in her eyes, her midnight black hair pulled back into a neat bun with a small snowflake clip and small strand that goes into her hair. Her clothes were neat, a small white blouse covered by a black suit vest that wrapped gently around her body. The light that went to her waist made her black skirt, tight around her waist going down her legs, visible.
She dropped the container into the floor next to many others she'd received before in a pile near her desk as she pushed the chair and herself towards the large amount of filing cabinets, reading the name of who the papers belonged to. Samuel Haden. She had to move around for a bit until she found his filing cabinet, humming quietly as she went through each file, and he gave her seventeen files to work with so it was easier that it might've been. She went and sorted through each date, easily adding them and not caring what was happening when a knock was heard at her door. She just continued filing the papers once more as she let out a quiet sigh. The last thing she wanted was guests.
"Who has come to visit me at this hour?" She asked in a quiet, kind of voice, with a hint of curiosity since many people would just message her. A male's voice answered, kind yet a bit muffled from the door. "I'm here for the weekly pick up of those plastic packages you've piled up."
She made a small chuckle as she stopped what she was doing and kicked the cabinet closed with her foot, her dark blue heels showing before she pushed herself towards the door, remaining in her seat as before. Suddenly the back of her chair hit the door, not seeming to be bothered before finally getting up, the sound of her heels clacking on the floor echoing in the quiet room. She kicked the chair back to her desk before opening the door to see him.
The man was taller than her by a few inches, being around six feet tall, and he looked down at her with a warm smile. A bandage was over his left eye, his right one showing a sharp green that could cut someone and was often jokingly teased for it. Hair was gently brushed to part, and yet sides had a sharp edged shave for a dark brown. His skin was darker from a tan and exposed more often to the skin she ever would. He's tone, wearing a classical suit as he looked at her. She stepped aside to let him in as she watched him. He walked quietly to the pike of plastic empty packages as he went and slowly stacked them near her desk.

"Tell me, any weeds recently came up?" She asked kindly as she went back to filing for her cabinets, a slight chuckle was heard from the man. "They were ripped out and given help to the plants I planted. How is your little file collection? You seem to be able to not only file but retype everything from when the company started." He stated as he didn't glace at her.
Their words were like their eyes slightly jabbing at each other in a teasing manner as they continued with what they were doing. The man looked at her as he had maybe two neatly piled packages, seemed to be at least ten in each of the two stacks he made as she finished and kicked the cabinet closed. He smiled as he stopped as she walked over to him, quietly folding her arms as she stood up; straightening himself up as he was ready for whatever was about to come from her.
"Retype? Only in my free time dearest, I've only been able to take in three of those cabinet lockers finished. Nothing easy when you have massive amounts of files always come in, and always go with people being hired and fired at times." She said looking at him as he shook his head. "Then why not just take them with you and type it at home, burn the files with them and then go on with life."

Then looked at each other quietly as they just stood there in silence, before they let out a slight chuckle. They let the tension between each other build from a small verbal fight to blood off into a childish play. That's when her laptop was suddenly getting a notification alert, both her and the man walked to the laptop and tapped the alert to see that she was needed for the meeting along with five other people. As she read the names so did he.
Celia Anderson, Adam John, Luna Midnight, Scarlet Phoenix, Matthew Conner, Cyan Rinichiro.
"Huh, I guess I was able to find you for the meeting, Adam." She said chuckling as she closed her laptop and picked it up from where it was resting.

The man chuckled as he smiled looking at her as hr walked to the door quietly looking at her, her eyes watched him as she walked to every cabinet locker checking to find any unlocked to lock them. What felt like seconds was minutes as her heels gently clicked, she reappeared turning from behind a cabinet locker as she walked towards him. He held the door for her once more as she quietly left her office of peace, into the building of chaos.
Men and women dressed formally to keep their jobs were pacing around the floors, carrying files and papers some in packages or spilling onto the floor. It was utter chaos as Adam shook his head and sighed as he walked to the elevator, Celia quietly followed after as they would always see the same people as usual. The floor was like almost every other floor, with cubicles of eight aligned in rows. The floor was a beautiful polished tile marble with grey walls. The elevator interior held a black tile with a oak polished walls. There was fifteen floors and two basements. One created for the vehicles that they drive and another was an unused storage unit about to be created for another floor level to the building parking lot. His finger gently pressed for the twelfth floor as the light suddenly turned to a bright green. There the doors closed as all the other works could have seen was a kind smile Celia gave Adam looking up at him. Up they went, to see the conference room as the calming music filled their silence, it was maybe a minute before the door opened for them. Adam quietly stepped out taking a glance to see no one was in the hall to the conference room when Celia walked out behind him, trusting his instincts. Her heels that was once tapping and clicking against the floor suddenly became muffled as they stood on a red carpet, they just headed to a dark oak door polished but held a small burned mark into the door handle. Created for you to turn it grabbing the silver stick handle.
As they walked in quietly, Luna was sitting at the far end of the conference table, his eyes seemed to be closed, his skin almost as pale as Celia as his lip has two piercings still despite the request to have them removed. His clothes were black but still in code as his arms were loosely folded over each other. Cyan sitting in the middle on the left of Luna looking up from his stainless steel watch as his eyes gave a cold glare. His body was thin and not as toned as Adam, there Cyan would gladly say that was true. He was almost as tall as Adam, a white button up shirt with a cyan colored tie neatly and tightly around his neck. Black dress pants and shoes were worn as his left hand was bandaged tightly, his hair a dark blue with a light blue peaking slightly to be seen from the light. The two glancing before returning to the glare Matthew and Scarlet were nowhere to be found.
"You're twelve minutes late then when the message was sent out Miss Anderson and Mister John." Cyan said giving a small hiss in his voice, but it seemed to be dismissed as the two took their seats across from Cyan. Adam went to Cyan's right and Celia to his left. "Yes it seemed we were, but tell me Mister Rinichiro, what is it that must cause you to worry for our arrival when your work becomes unnecessary for me to even file." Celia said as she looked at Cyan. Luna gave a slight chuckle. "Indeed, she has a point."
"Mister Midnight, glad you're finally here to join us in this conversation, don't you think?" Adam asked with a smirk as Luna chuckled in response shifting in his seat. "Oh, it is Mister John, but do understand we do need to get those lockers removed from now on."
"Oh?" Celia piped in with curiosity and suspicion when Matthew and Scarlet finally arrived walking in.
They all broke their conversation to see the two, their attention given. Matthew waved a kind smile to them as he walked in and sat at the head of the table. A man of average yet toned build and height with dirty blonde hair curling slightly near the tips. A dark blue shirt shoes with a tie of silver. It was almost if not completely normal to see him in black pants and shoes as he sat down, his eyes a dark green given a slight warning look as his skin was tan. Scarlet moved and sat to the right of Luna as she seemed to powers a fierce gaze. Her hair was red flowing down to her mid back. Height of five-seven as she held a bit of a wider bust, bangs were cut as light brown eyes with red turning to burn through her eyes. Red pigment was revealed in her dress of white with decorations surrounding the dress in a fashion. From the waist down was cut into strips that flowed gently. Her body was as pale as Celia as she crossed her legs, brown heels were seen as it was almost like heeled boots. Gloves on her arms extended to an inch above her elbow as it held a burgundy color, the base of the close wrapped around the joint of her middle finger.
"It seems my message went through without any interruptions, now, I assume you all know why I called you here." Matthew stated kindly looking at the four who have been seated and given Matthew their attention. "If not and I refuse to state the topic at hand through messages, we are about to fall." Suddenly when hearing that they all went into shock.
Matthew sounded  yet cold when it was spoken as Celia questioned it to him. "Fall, what about everything we've allied with. They're still with us, if not I can always do something to" Matthew cut her off. "That won't be necessary Miss Anderson, they are helping us with being able to move our location."
"Location, which one do er have enough to help knowing we're at war with another nation?" Cyan stated. "We don't have enough time or resources for this building to continue, everything will need to be transported and I am assigning you all to different locations to find new ones for the team. I will warn you, just like when we met, this may not be easy nor kind." Matthew stated as the room filled with tension.
"Scarlet, I assume you can take the earth well in desert areas since you are already give off unspeakably hot temperatures." Matthew asked, receiving a nod of understanding.
"What will happen to this building, we started with nothing from here." "Miss Anderson, I assume you'll be able to handle protecting those files?" A cold breeze suddenly came in as Celia just stood up and left the room with the door quietly closing behind her.
"I would enjoy if the winter season wasn't angered." Luna and Adam stated irritated slightly.

The chill faded as warmth filled once more, Luna opened his eyes once again. "I'll take the back alleys, see what there is in the shadows." Adam smirked hearing Luna. "Rooftops then see what a hawk would see that a mouse couldn't."

As soon as Matthew was about to speak, everything froze as Cyan seemed to be able to move. Looking at his watch he went to the corner of the room next to a window as time suddenly fast forward. His eyes monitored the world before a pulse flowed through his body as time stopped. His eyes moved to the day as it revealed to be April 10th, twelve days after the meeting. His eyes glanced around before spotting an airplane beginning to land. "Now, are you a passenger or worker." He hissed as he ran out.

With that he ran to the airport, a trip that would've taken hours meant nothing to him. The world is still he could do anything. What felt like an hour was nothing as he stood near the floor for people to arrive when time resumed at a normal pace. Walking up and down the aisles before getting to A-876 when the pulse was unusually strong. He decided to wait, seeing the passengers didn't carry it meant someone else did. Time clicked to a holt as he went onboard without his passport searching the plane.
"Employee, how much trouble will you be?" He growled as he went to the cockpit when the pulse was at it's strongest before dying out. He saw a woman ready to check, frozen as she seemed to be fixing her outfit yet frozen in time. That's when he smiled and said to himself.

             Checkmate.
