Chapter 18: In & Out

I turn back into human form and runs to the nearest street I could. The house is in the middle of the woods so it's very difficult to find any type of neighbouring houses around. Another reason why me and rouge doesn't have any friends. I run past some spider webs and many frog holes but no sign of a street. I stopped to get a breather then I heard a noise in the bushes. I hid behind the tree next to me and silenced my breath. The sound was getting closer and closer. I was terrified.

Their both are Incredibly stronger than me so it's kinda hopeless to actually think I could ambush them in anyway possible.

I see a figure walk past me. It's our butcher with his knife. He's blind but his hearing is amazing. He can hear up to 50 miles. For security reasons for me and rouge.

I looked at him as he dumps some raw meat into a near ditch and walks back my way.

"(Y/n) if your here....Please pumpkin run as fast as you can...your my little baby I promise I won't tell. Just go. I owed your mother my life and since I couldn't save her at least let me save you." He says as he stood there

I covered my mouth and softly touched his pinky finger then took off running without looking back.

*Flashback*

*8 years old*

(Y/n) falls to the ground breathing hard and coughing up blood

"Enough apparently the baby had up to her limit" says her father

(Y/n) and Rouge trained everyday to better themselves at their powers but sometimes it goes overboard. Especially since today rouge is officially 10 years old meaning that he takes over the fighting techniques

When everyone left (y/n) sat outside with her blindfold on while listening to the koi pond in the corner of the room. The blindfold represented disappointment to those that wore it and for (y/n) it's a daily thing.

"Psst princess" says the butcher

"Yes butcher" says (y/n)

"Come now child I have a surprise for you" he says as (y/n) gets up and walks with the butcher

"Take off your blindfold" he says

"I can't it's my shame" (y/n) says

"There's no shame in my kitchen only deserts" he says laughing

(Y/n) took off her blindfold to see a big birthday cake with 8 candles lite on top. She looked at the butcher as he singed happy birthday. (Y/n) was happy because no one in the house wished her a happy birthday but only butcher and that made her feel better. Moments later she blew out her candles and cut her and butcher a slice of cake.

"Butcher...why does father hate me?" She asks

"Sweet pea he's only doing this to make you stronger" he says

"But I don't want to be strong. I want to go to school and make friends now train and get sick" she says

"Honey ever since your mother passed your father hasn't been the same. Believe me he still loves you he just doesn't want to lose you." He says as he pulls her into a hug

"I miss mommy" she says

" I miss Rosalina as well sweet pea" he says softly
