Chapter 2

school today, oh joy.. but i at least get to see peeta, i still cant belive were dating. its so un real, but i love him so much. everyone always says hes too good for me but i get to prove them wrong when they see me hand and hand with Peeta Mellark.

I go over to peeta's house so we can walk together. as knock on the door i see peeta's dad at the front door 'hi katniss ' he says, 'hi mr mellark, is peeta here?' i say. 'yes ill get him for you one second' he gose and gets him. 'hi katniss' peeta come from down the stairs, 'hi peeta, ready to walk to school?' i say. 'yeah let me get my bag.' as he went and i waited at the front door.

'lets go katniss' he gives me a kiss. 'okay lets go' as im holding his hand. it feels nice to be loved by someone like peeta.... but what will my other friend say like... Gale. will he be happy for me? will he stop being my friend? we'll just have to see i hope. ' whats wrong ?' peeta says. 'oh.... well nothing' i say looking at him. you cant not lie to him and get away with it, he always finds out sooner or later.

were almost at school and all you here is kids from school already whispering about us. its weird, but who knows this could be fun.'hey katniss?' peeta turns to face me, 'yeah peeta?' i say looking into his eyes. 'i love you' he gose for a kiss. ' i love you too' and once you know it everyone is looking at us, but i dont care let them.
