The fairy sighed softly as he floated through the forest. He was happy; the Seven Deadly Sins proved their innocence, saved Liones from the corrupted Hendrickson, and he spent the festival with Diane but something seemed to be missing. After his run-in with Helbram, the grizzly sin couldn't help but think about the Forest, his people, and Elaine. He honestly missed everything and everyone. While thinking, he unknowingly floated into a meadow of many different types of flowers. It took King a moment but he soon snapped out of his trance and took in his surroundings. Landing gently on the ground with Chastiefol tucked securely under his arm, King began listing off the flowers he saw.

'Tulips, Lilies, Sunflowers...'

He stopped in front of two bushes. On one grew dark red roses; Elaine's favorite flower. On the other grew his favorite flower; purple and blue Hydrangea's. He remembered the times were he would fly around the Fairy King's Forest with Elaine and Helbram, playing games on who could name the most types of flowers. Usually, Elaine would win. A small smile formed on his lips. He really had some good memories of that place. Soon, his smile turned into a frown as the good memories were overpowered by bad ones. His best friends pain. His subjects, being killed right under his nose by the very race that helped Diane. Having to make Diane forget all about him to protect her. And returning to his home, only to find nothing but ashes.

The grizzly sin let out a long sigh. As he turned around, he spotted some things moving across the far side of the meadow. Squinting his amber eyes to see farther, he realized it was a group of Chicken-Matango, the very same mushrooms that shrunk Diane and Elizabeth at Vaizel. 'Those mushrooms used to roam around the forest all the time with their other brethren...' King thought and shook his head. Seemingly everything was reminding him of the forest. He finally began to head back to the tavern. Upon arriving, there were some people dancing around. Even a week later and people were still celebrating the defeat of Hendrickson and return of the Seven Deadly Sins. He didn't mind, of course.

People were playing musical instruments and singing outside the tavern which seemed to be attracting more customers. Some kids were dancing around to the music while their parents talked over the music.

"Lets be best friends forever!"

"My very best friend!~"

King froze. His memory of Helbram in the forest flashed into his mind upon hearing those words. He bit his lip and glanced between the forest he just exited and the tavern. Going back could have some dire consequences. What if another new generation that they missed attacked? Or renegade Holy Knights took hostages? There were so many possibilities on what could go wrong.

Finally, he gave into temptation. His team would be fine without him for a little bit. It wasn't like he'd be leaving forever! Plus, he could make a memorial shrine for his best friend and his sister. He nodded unconsciously and smiled. 'I'll leave first thing tomorrow morning. Nobody will notice..
