"Alright we are good to go!" I said holding up my thumb, giving the go signal for The Boss. The ride sped off as the screams grew louder. We waited six seconds for the next car to come screeching in.

"Alright, how was it?" I asked as they screamed in excitement,"Well then have Six Flags day and go ride The American Thunder! Oh, and please exit to your right," I added. When I finished announcing my announcement I saw a strange man in a black cloak holding a purple, crystal globe exit the ride. I couldn't see his face but I could see his hands, burnt and scratched. His cloak opening turned toward me and I saw glowing, red eyes that held hate. His eyes got big and wide as if he was horrified. He ran to the stairs and what seemed to fly down them without hesitation. He knocked down a small child and I ran to help him. As soon as I got to the stairs the man was gone. It was like he vanished out of thin air.

"Ok I'm leaving Grant," I said clicking my little card in the slot. It beamed green and I put it in my card holder.

"Ok you drive safe. Oh, and don't forget your subbing for Anna tomorrow," Grant said looking off into space.

"Ok," I said trying not to hurt his feelings. Anna used to work here before she died in a car crash, she was so nice to Grant. He just won't accept the fact that she's gone. He just thinks she's been sick for a while and I just let him believe what he wants to believe.

As I was driving home I was listening to the radio when a car spun off the road and landed in the ditch. I reached for my phone but before I did I saw the man in the black cloak. His cloak opening turned toward me. He looked at me with those red horrified eyes. He starred at me, turned his head then moved swiftly into the ditch. A minute later I heard a woman and a young boy scream. Then, all of a sudden the screaming stopped. I stopped the car in the middle lane and got my phone out. A middle aged woman about 35 slammed on her brakes and gave me the finger. That continued until the whole lane was backed up. People were honking but I didn't care. I dialed 911 and told them where I was, what I saw, and when. They were there in 2 minutes flat. I pulled my car to the side of the road and waited for the police to tell me something. They came up with faces I couldn't explain.

"What did you find?" I asked nervously.

"We found, we found uh uh 2 hearts," the head officer said," it looks like it was ripped from their chests but nobody to be seen. But there was a name tag and a bag with names on them both. They were, Melinda Jicker and Henry Jicker."

I was shocked. I didn't know what to do. I knew who the murder was. The man in the black cloak wasn't a normal person, he was a killer that would do anything to get whatever he wanted. And I had a feeling it was me.
