rose cringed hard at jimin's reply to her instagram comment. what she actually meant to ask about was how long it took for him to chose from 500 similar pictures. rose swore she didn't mean anything else.

jimin was hellishly popular amongst the huge high school along with his six other best friends. this probably explained why all the girls in the school were either glaring at rose or simply murmuring even when she picked at her nails.

like, who do you think you are?

someone tapped her on the shoulder multiple times. rose looked up from her phone, meeting the eyes of one out of her three best friends, jennie kim. jennie sent rose a coy smile as she inspected what was on rose's phone screen at the moment.

"i see you're disturbed with jimin's reply to your comment." jennie oohed, flicking some of her long black hair backwards. "how's your sanity?"

"perfectly fine, as always." rose muttered sarcastically.

"it's okay, it'll go away." jennie said smoothly, patting her shoulder. "hey, let's start walking to class. we have five minutes."

"autocorrect: hell. you know who's in that class." rose reminded jennie, who chuckled while nudging her teasingly. the two strutted their way across the cleanly washed floors to their first class in the second building, students automatically parting for them mainly out of intimidation.

the two strolled into the loud classroom two minutes before the first bell rang. some of the noise died down, partially because the two looked fabulous and also because of jimin's annoying as fuck reply on instagram. some boys whistled at rose's short leather skirt and jennie's plaid gucci skirt.

rose suddenly wanted to try to shove chopsticks the classic asian way up their butts.

the two slid into their seats, which were in front of jisoo and lisa's table. "hey jisoo. and lis." jennie and rose smiled, turning around to face them. lisa waved, her right leg slung lazily over the desk. jisoo gave them a quick smile before continuing her game of color switch.

a minute before the bell rang, the seven expected boys sauntered into the room. rose felt especially annoyed today because of what happened with jimin, but her breath sometimes caught whenever she saw him, like today. definitely the other classmates weren't annoyed by them, some girls suspiciously adjusting their underwear or taking off their jackets.

he was leading the crew today, wearing a tight white v neck with ripped black skinny jeans. jimin lazily ran a hand through his straight hair like he always did, his eyes carrying a mischievous glint like taehyung and his other buddy jungkook. it seemed he was looking for a special person to annoy or flirt with. jimin's eyes landed on rose today, scanning her body first, which was covered by a short and tight off the shoulder black long sleeve with her leather skirt. he licked his lips staring at her crossed legs.

suddenly rose wanted to climb into a hole and never come back out to see the day.

jimin smirked, him and his group continuing to walk over to the range of empty desks around the girls. other girls looked over in slight disappointment, but rose deep down wanted to switch souls with one of them as soon as possible.

the chairs scraped against the floor as jimin and taehyung sat in front of them, jungkook and jin sitting next to lisa and jisoo, and the three other boys sitting next to them. rose glared at jimin as he slid into his chair, lowkey wishing she could jump out the large window near their seats.

"hey, rose. enjoyed my picture from yesterday?" jimin leaned over and whispered into her ear, making rose shocked for a few seconds.

"nope. i was too busy admiring myself in the screen reflection." rose whispered back, annoyance clear in her tone.

she backed up and oohed, laughing at her own words. jimin shot her an impressed but defeated look for two seconds, but his face flickered back to his normal cocky expression. she continued shooting jimin her most intimidating glare, but he laughed it off and seemed unbothered.

jimin crossed his legs, slightly turning in his chair to face rose, a smirk playing on his lips every time her annoyance capacity filled up by him saying dumb things to her. at this rate, rose wanted to actually leave this classroom by whispering stuff into the bathroom mirror. she found the tutorial on youtube about teleportation.

"hello, class. everyone, be quiet." mr. chae, the old history teacher, huffed as he observed everyone in the classroom. "today, i'm giving you all an assignment in the history textbook that is two pages long. your job is to answer all the questions, including the explanations. if you don't finish it in class, it's homework." mr. chae huffed once more.

"i'm convinced he's high or toxicated right now." rose whispered into jennie's ear, referring to his habit of huffing. the two softly giggled together, careful for mr. chae not to notice them.

mr. chae noticed anyway, tipping his eyeglasses to the end of his nose. "ms. park and ms. kim, mind sharing with us what you're talking about that's so interesting?"

"yeah, sure!" rose smiled generously. everyone turned to look at her in confusion.

"which is?"

"do you smoke?" rose innocently asked.

some girls burst out in laughter, other boys chuckling. everyone around her seemed to be softly laughing. jennie let out a sly grin.

"excuse me?" mr. chae's tone was dangerous.

"you huff and puff a lot." rose responded. "it's not healthy."

"isn't that the name of a pokemon?" jennie made an impressed face. "connections!" the class was now laughing harder.

"detention, now!" mr. chae hollered, his face red to the brim. jennie and rose shrugged, both standing up.

"would you hurry up?" rose fake smiled while gritting her teeth.

jennie brushed off dust from her skirt. "no. my gucci butt is not listening to your orders."

-

"save me." jennie groaned as the four sat down around their lunch table. "mr. chae is an exceptionally amazing teacher." sarcasm oozed out of her words.

"it's technically not your fault he smokes." lisa grabbed her chopsticks, then opening her container of fried chicken she had packed.

"oh lord, you better give me some." jisoo licked her lips. "please?"

"fine. but just one." lisa gave her a leg.

"give me a chicken thigh instead."

"no."

"why not?"

"because that's the best part of the chicken."

jennie tucked her hair behind her ears and leaned her head down on the table, facing sideways. jennie blocked out the sound of lisa and jisoo's argument and rose laughing as she watched students walking past, giggling, and sometimes screaming.

her eyes flickered to the cafeteria table where the seven boys sat. jennie observed each one out of sheer boredom. as she looked at taehyung, he just so coincidentally happened to look directly at her after a few seconds.

immediately, jennie's face heated up, and directed her gaze to someone else balancing a basketball on their head.

creeP.

jennie glanced back at him, slowly praying that she wouldn't get caught again.

taehyung was still staring at her. he winked at her with a knowing glance, i-know-you-were-staring.

jennie awkwardly blushed and turned around without a second thought.
