"Ahhhhhhh!" I woke up screaming at the top of my lungs. I don't know how long I was screaming for but when I finally realized I was screaming, tears were streaming down my cheeks and my lungs burned with pain that was unbearable; it felt as though I was suffocating. Suffocating in my own pain, fear, life: the list goes on and on.
I gathered my shattered life and formed it into a painfully fake smile. I passed the mirror as I was running around my room trying to find a hair tie; a stared at my reflection I pinched the fat on my stomache and thighs and mentally punched myself in the face. Note to self: work out after school.
I gathered my crap, grabbed my keys, and exited my safe haven. The drive to school started out as usual; my music blasting, windows down, stares from every direction. As I approached a stop sign a familiar voice called out to me. I looked around and turned my music down. As I turned my head to the other direction something caught my eye and standing right I'm front of my car was connor. Bloody, shirtless, and bruised. I hopped out my jeep and ran to him, I helped him hobble into my passenger seat.
"We need to go to the hospital. Now."
"No. I'm fine." He stated with stubbornness. I gave him the dirtiest look anyone had ever seen.
" No. Your not fine. stop being such a fucking guy. If your going to bleed all over my seats you have to at least let me bring you to the hospital." I got a 'your going to pay for this look' but he agreed reluctantly.
" fine." After about five minutes of silence I broke the ice.
"What happened?" I asked reluctantly.
" Dave happened." He said without facing me. I stayed quiet as he continued to stare out the Invisible window.
