Being Closer

They went downstairs and sat back at the table. "Mr.Black Hat sir I'm sorry for being mean and saying it's posion I was just scared of you I'm sorry" Boris apologized looking down. "Well it seems like you can apologize after all its alright I scare allot of people so no need to worry I didn't posion the food" Black Hat said calmly smiling a little. Boris smiles then eats his food and so does Bendy but Mugs and Cup were already done with their food.

~later~

They were in Cup and Mugs room playing a bored game. "Does anyone have any eighths?" Mugs asks. "No" Bendy and Cuphead says in unison. "Oh fudge" Boris says handing him two eighths, "alright!" Mugs cheered putting down a group of eighths, "I win!" he added happily smiling. "Of you always win well that's your speciality" Cuphead said looking at a book on the bookshelf and sticking out of the books was a brown poorly ripped piece of paper.

Cuphead then looked back at Mugs with a worried face. Mugs then nodded at Cuphead then said, "we gotta go...." Mugs trailed off as he looked at Cuphead for an answer. "Smoking we're going outside to smoke grab the box Mugs" Cuphead said standing up. "What right Now!?" Bendy said standing up, "and isn't Mugs too young to smoke" he added noticing the spaciousness.

"Yeah soooooooooooo..... oh and it might take a while so until then you can stay and chat with bag head in his white room full of gadgets" Mugs said walking out with Cuphead then he came back in and grabbed a box of cigarettes and quickly got the mysterious looking book with the brown poorly paper in it then went back out.

"Well that's was weird" Boris finally said standing up. "Yeah who's bag head and where is the white room full of-" but Bendy was cut off by his brother saying, "laboratory and Flug, Dr.Flug is their uncle the one with the goggles and paper hat on his head" Boris explained looking down at Bendy who was still sitting down. "Ooohhhhh okay then I think I might've seen him before" Bendy said nodding.

"So if they are leaving for a long time I guess I'll hang with Black Hat and you can hang with Flug to...you know get to know each other more" Boris groaned not really wanting to spend time with Black Hat. "That's the spirit Boris and okay I'll spend time with Flug okay then later we'll go home to get ready for school the next day" Bendy explained walking out of the room.

"Okay fine" Boris sighed as he walked out with him.

Boris's POV (for now)
I walked into the kitchen because I thought he would be in there but he wasn't. So I started walking around until I found him in his office or think it was. At first I was hesitant but the I went for it and said, "uh hey Mr.Black Hat sir...um...if you're not too busy...uh...um...uh...-" I was too scared to say what I was going to say. Ether way I got cut off by him saying, "well...what is it boy spit it out".

"Ehhhh...I wanna hang out with you!" I blurted kinda loudly then I covered my mouth blushing. He turned to me surprised at first then asked, "where are my sons are they not with you?" "Well uh they were but then they had to go somewhere I don't know where though so that said to hang out here for a bit until they get back then my brother had an idea of me hanging out with you so you can get use to us or uh me you know and Bendy decided to hang out with Flug because he doesn't know him well so yeah I think that's it that's if maybe you got question or details you wanna gloss over with?" I rented, breathing heavily, smiling nervously and sweating looking at him with my face red.

"Uh no that's okay...um do you need a glass of water or something because um you seem flushed...and I'll just have to talk to them when they get back but over all about your question at first sure of course I'll spend time with you" Black Hat explained smiling warmly at me. "R-really!?" I stuttered blushing a bit surprised he even said yes. "Of course I heard about your parents died a long time ago so if it gets awkward you can always say so and you can do whatever okay" Black Hat said warmly patting my head.

I couldn't help but jump a little when he started patting my head, it felt good and weird at the same time. I started uncontrollably wagging my tail and panting, oh great my dog side is coming out in front of him wow just great I am now officially embarrassed. He stopped and looked at me in awe then he did the most unbelievable thing and teased me scratching my head then stopping then doing it again then stopping and so on. He then went to my favorite spot and stayed there making me make a weird high pitch squeal for more.

I slightly pushed him away covering my mouth and blushing red. All he did was look at me and smile but instead of this warm smile he does he went back to his weirdly michevious smile. I got scared I wondered d-did I do something?...or was it my weird high pitched squeal. I couldn't figure out what was so funny to him but before I could really put my finger on it he said, "you're cute...I like it" then he smiled wider finally showing his sharp teeth. I looked at him weird then he stopped smiling and put on a small smile to make me less uncomfortable but it wasn't working.

"So friend what would you like to do first?" He asked going back to that mischievous smile of his. "Ummm I haven't really thought that far through yet maybe we could just talk you know to get to know each other more" I suggested putting on a nervous smile. "Sure why not what would you like to know about me?" Black Hat asked fixing his hat a bit.

Bendy's POV (for now)
I walked into what seemed like a lab and I'm pretty sure it was one. I saw him in a paper bag hat with goggles on it, it was kinda weird and I always wondered why he had that on always. Maybe he didn't like the way he looked...well possibly this is finally my time to question him about it. I stood near he desk, A.K.A where he was sitting there working on who God knows what that is.

I waited for him to notice me, it took awhile. He finally noticed me when he turned around needing to get something. He jumped a bit in fear and total anxiety and stuttered, "o-oh Bendy....wha-what a-are you d-doing h-here?". "Oh uh Cup and Mugs are out doing something so they told me and my bro to chill with you or Black Hat until they get back from only what God knows" I said leaving against the wall. "O-oh does Black Hat know?" Flug asks. "I think Boris is telling him right now" I said pointing behind me.

"N-no that C-Cup and M-Mugs aren't h-here" he stuttered getting anxious again. "Uh I suppose so....but let's not worry I'm sure he'll figure something out when they come back for now let's just chat is that cool with you?" I asked nervously rubbing the back of my neck. "Er....sure" Dr.Flug said calming down a bit but we sat there in complete silence until I broke the silence by asking, "sooooooooooo uh I was wondering why you wear that paper bag on your head".

"Huh oh this um.....uh it's uh kinda of a secret I don't really tell people..." Flug softly said trailing off and looking away. "Oh heh sorry...yeah well uh anyways what do you do in here?" I asked looking around at all the gadgets he has. "Oh I'm glad you ask the thing I'm working on right now its a ray that um...hold on let me demitrate for you" Flug said putting on the helmet then pressing the button.

The ray turned on then it lazered the plat form spawning in a sandwich. "Cool so it spwans up food that's cool" I smiled giving him a thumbs up. "Uh...no it doesn't spwan food...well that's only if you think of food this machine lets you bring a life your thoughts...that is what the machine is for" Flug explain taking the hat of his paper hat. "Oh heh sorry I'm a mechanic so I think a scientist and a mechanic are not the same..." I slightly said looking around for more interesting machines.

"Oh you're a mechanic that's pretty awesome...wait may I ask if you're a mechanic...why do you work in a dollar store then" Flug asked pressing his finger tips together slightly with anxious. "Oh because I don't have a degree...I didn't go to college my brother needs me so that is why I'm in high school with him" I simply said looking back at him. "Yeah same with Cuphead but really the reason is he doesn't want to go he thinks it's a waste of time" Flug said looking down. 

"Oh....I see...uh...um...I was wondering...if...that machine of yours makes the people you're thinking about" I hesitated on saying looking at the machine. "Hmmmm....oh but uh of course it can but...it's dangerous because anything you think of them saying they'll do it so I would try not to so okay" Flug said smiling a little. "Alright I won't" I replied back stretching a bit, "why do you ask?" Flug asks looking at me.

"Oh uh no reason just was wondering heh heh" I laughed nervously brushing it off.

(Out of POV)
Bendy and Boris were talking and laughing with them having everything in common and sharing stuff they would never say to the cup bros well everything except their past. They would never tell their past well even though Boris already told the cup bros. They sometimes think people would never understand or believe.
