2. My New Neighbor?

Emma's p.o.v:
Finally the day came for us to move. It was easier than I thought, seeing as I only have a minimal amount of possessions.

I should be sad to leave this place since I have so many memories here, but I have plenty of bad ones I'm more than ready to leave behind, so I'm ready to escape.

One we loaded the moving van, we hopped in the car and drove to our new home.

The place was about 20 minutes from our last home, but mum assured me it would only be a five minute walk to school each day.

The apartment was a building, two stories high. It was a grey building, yet it appeared so friendly. It had a front porch and a garage as well as a small garden out the front and back.

There was a house right next door, that was so close you could jump across houses. I hope my new neighbour is a girl.

Heading inside we bought all our stuff in and set up the furniture in the lounge room.

"Honey." Mum said.
"Hmmm"
"I'm going to take one of the downstairs rooms. That way you can have your privacy upstairs for yourself." She says.
"Thanks mum" I say, hugging her tightly.

After everything is packed away, mum decided we should meet the neighbors.

On the left was mr Neville, nice old man, though he wasn't very social.
Then we went to the right side neighbor's.

Knocking on the door, mum and I became nervous.
"Hello?" A lady said, opening the door. She was nursing a baby on her hip.
"Hi. We're the new neighbor's. We wanted to make some friends in the neighbourhood. We bought some cookies too" My mother smiled gleefully, handing the platter of freshly baked chocolate cookies to our new neighbour.

"Oh. Hello. I'm Tanya and this is my son Phillip. My other son, Sebastian is up stairs." She introduces.
"I'm Emma and this is my mum, Jane." I say, introducing us.

"Come in" Tayna ushers.
"Thankyou" I smile.
"I'll just call Seb down" she excuses herself before leaving to go upstairs.

After a while Tanya returns with a teenage boy behind her. He has dark hair and green eyes.

It takes me a moment before I recognise him.

"This is my son Seb. Sebastian this is Jane and Emma" Tanya says.
"Hi" I say, trying to keep my cool.
"We go to the same school" I say, watching the parents faces lighten.
"That's great dear" mum smiles, while Sebastian and I fake smile.
"You two go upstairs and have fun." Tanya says ushering us to go enjoy ourselves.

Seb leads me upstairs to the 'games room'. It's sorta like his hangout den I guess you could say.

There is a couch, a tv, a video game console, some games and a mini fridge.

Taking a seat on the couch I turn to Sebastian.
"So we're neighbours now?" He says, sounding not very convinced.
"No shît Sherlock. Figure that one out on your own?" I roll my eyes.
"Yup" he says proudly, popping the 'P'.

It's a little awkward.
"So what was your name? Ericka or something?" He asks.
"Emma" I say, my voice sounding grumpy.
"Ok, ok I was just asking" he raises his hands in surrender, his smirk never leaving his face.

The time to go finally came. Thanking the lord I got up to leave.

Saying a goodbye to Tanya and Sebastian, we thanked them for their hospitality.

Later at night...
Finally ready for bed I turned of the light. I lay my head and tried to find sleep.

Moments later their was a noise on my window. Tap. Tap. Tap.

Going over to it i drew the curtains and pulled it up. Looking out I saw four people looking back at me. I recognised them instantly, nickolas Dias, Aaron Noels and josh Smyth as well as Sebastian.

"Hey I thought you said you had a chick move in next door?" Nickolas whispers. Sebastian whacks him on the back on the head. I look down at my clothes and see what they mean. Ha ha very funny. Not.

"What do you four douches want?" I say in a bored tone. Nobody says anything for a while.
"let's make a bet?" Josh proposes, a smirk plastered on his face.
"What's the bet?" I scoff.

"Here's the deal. You have to try to get us to fall for you. Whoever falls for you gives you a fifty dollar note. But if you fall for one of us you have to give that person a fifty. If you can't pay you get a dare." He shrugs and looks around for our answers. All the guys nod their heads.

"Deal." I say shaking his hand.
"I guess that means I have to hang out with you guys now?" I ask.
"Sure." Aaron says.

I nod and turn to return to bed.
"Oh and sweetheart" Sebastian says.
"Yes" I answer raising a brow.
"Your going to need to change up your look. It's not flattering" he says before they close their window and draw their curtains.

Fuming I close my window and draw my curtains too.

I walk over to my nightstand and grab my phone. Unlocking it I go straight onto messages.

Me:
Kirsty, shopping tomorrow? Will explain everything.

Kirsty:
Off course. Does this mean your letting me make you over?

Me:
If you don't mind?

Kirsty:
I love you so much. Gtg... Byyyyyyyye xx

Me:
Bye weirdo ;)

With that I turn off my phone. I will win this bet, watch out boys. I smirk to myself as I drift to sleep.

A/N
So..... They made a bet to try to get the others to fall for you without falling for them. Oh boy.

I'm lmao, I kinda wanted to put the mum upstairs so they would get her room by accident but I had to put her downstairs for future reasons.

Anyways. It's like half past twelve and I've updated twice today.... Achievements!

Also I have a really good feeling about this book. Like seriously I can't wait. It's going to be the frîcking bomb.

Anyways I just love Emma's personality. Comment who you like the most. It will be interesting.
