Chapter 10: Chara

"Guess you've found me... Heh," Chara eventually bursted into a horrific chuckle. "You guys are EXTREMELY stupid."

You looked around, feeling conscious. Wind blew through your hair, filling you with relaxation. You gave out a deep sigh. Seconds later, you began to stare at Chara, squinting your eyes as you saw he shedding of.. Skin? She was like a snake, revealing a new set of clothes. A black aura shone as her body had finally been exposed to the sunlight.

You widen your eyes, feeling amazed as how a terrifying demon could make such an extraordinary appearance. Your eyes glimmered in the sunlight, but suddenly closed shut as it shone right into your pupils.

Chara put on her signature appearance: A wide grin that slid from ear to ear. Leaving that horrific tense. As she swiftly turned her head to look at you, you gulped, and stared to feel the worries crawling up your spine. Her grin grew wider, as she saw your suffering emotions inside.

Why did you do this...?

You broke down into tears, eventually it began to flow. They rolled down the small gaps in between your fingers. It let out a satisfying plop as it touched the ground.

Did you make me suffer...?

"Pfftt... Frisk, you get the idea. I was eager to make you suffer." She tilted her head to the side, beginning to twitch, vigorously. She smile was starting to becoming a living nightmare to you every time you gave a glance at it. "Oh, dear... Just let my job be easier, okay?"

Job...? You don't even have one...

"Incorrect. I do have a job."

What is it? May I know?

"Hehehe...~ And my job. Is to TAKE YOU SOUL."

You backed away from Chara, closing your eyes to stop seeing the living nightmare glued to Chara's face. You ended up not being able to see with all the flowers growing. Eventually, you fell into Sans' arms, and holding his hoodie tightly. You began to sob hot tears, while wondering who would take the first move.

You closed you eyes, slowly but your whole body felt like jelly and your brain was going to turn into slush anytime. Sans slowly put you to the ground, trying to calm you down. You breathed heavily and tried to catch your breath. Unfortunately, the flowers were too thick to handle.

A moment of silence pasted by, when finally somebody took the first move. Sans. You were just surprised as he had the bravery to confront Chara. He stepped closer towards Chara, your depression begins to multiply. You wondered how he could be so calm confronting her despite all the horror in her soul. Finally, he was right in front of her face.

Chara just bursted into laughter as she knew that Sans could do nothing... Or maybe she was wrong. The reaction Sans gave was a shrug. (A/N: A DAMN SHRUG. DAMNIT SANS DON'T BE LAZY.) Chara raised her brow, she knew something was suspicious. But, she didn't mind at all.

Sans let out a heavy sigh as he took a step backwards, leaving a gap in between he and Chara. He took out his hand from he pocket and gave a snap of a finger. A nice crimson red aura was glowing from his eyes sockets as he widened them. Straightening his hand to the side, a row of bones charged towards Chara and a bunch of Gaster Blasters appeared from the darkness. She gave her menacing smile as she dodges all of them.

"It's only just the begin, Chara." Sans finally spat out the words. Chara didn't seemed to mind.

Unintentionally, you began to say his frase line out loud, together with Sans himself:

"I'M GOING TO HAVE A GREAT TIME, CHARA."

The battle begins...
