Small forgotten child, sits sadly in the street,
small and lonely child, has nothing on her feet.
Small unwanted child, but at the age of nine,
small and dirty child, sits by the bus stop sign.
Small and wiry child that no one comes to claim,
small unruly child, that no one tries to tame.
Small unhappy child, has no one left to love,
small and empty child, her family up above.
Small poor crying child, that everybody hates,
small poor unloved child, whose life is left to fate.
Small and friendless child, has found someone who cares,
small and vacant child, no longer sits and stares.
Small discarded child, now with a bed and food,
small and smelly, no longer acting rude.
Small and gloomy child, now can give a smile,
small and upset child, now has a doctors file.
Small unsmiling child, now loved and adored,
small forgotten child, not lonely anymore.
