Valentine's date

Beacon had no school on Valentine's Day so the kids in campus could have small parties and hang out and give out chocolates and so on.

I heard a knock on my dorm door and heard a familiar voice "Y/n, it's Pyrrha!" I smiled and opened the door meeting Pyrrha's green eyes with mine own E/c. "Happy Valentines Y/n" Pyrrha whispered and kissed my forehead lightly. "Pyrrha, st-stop it" I stuttered and she chuckled "you're adorable" and I avoided eye contact.

Pyrrha took my hand and started dragging me again from my room and took me outside. "Pyrrha what are you doing? Where are we going?" I asked confused "well it's Valentines Day! We're going on a date!" Pyrrha said excitedly and I smiled at her excitement over a simple holiday. "Okay so there's a festival in today for a few days, want to go there?" Pyrrha asked "I've never been to one before so I guess we can" (sorry if you have) I replied.

We decided to walk there and it took about 30 minutes which wasn't that long. When the festival came in sight, I gasped in awe. There were booths everywhere, some with games to play and win prizes and some with food, there were all types of rides, and the tallest one was the Ferris Wheel. Pyrrha giggled and grabbed my hand, dragging me to one of the booths. It was a dart game. Pyrrha gave him money and was given 10 darts. She hit every balloon and won a small stuff animal pig and a stuff animal husky. Pyrrha gave me the pig "here you go Y/n!" "Wh-why are you giving me it? You're the one who won it" "I won it for you" Pyrrha said and put the pig in my bag. She's so sweet.

"Where do you want to go next?" Pyrrha asked. I looked around and looked at a few rides that looked cool. I smile and pointed to a kiddie roller coaster and said, "that one" "that's for kids" Pyrrha chuckled. I blushed and mumbled, "I know... stop making fun of me" she hugged me "I wasn't making fun of you Y/n" I looked at the ground and hugged her back. After the hug we both got in line and waited for about 3 minutes for the people on it to get off.

The roller coaster route was short but it went in a circle about 10 times, give or take. It was kind of fast and it had a small sharp turn. It was surprisingly fun. The ride was over and we decided to go on another one called Tornado. It spun us around fast and we could spin our seats along with it, it was fun but I got super dizzy. After the ride we saw Ruby and Jaune and we all went on a ride called 1001 Notches. Jaune was screaming like a girl and Ruby was laughing her head off at Jaune, Pyrrha was simply smiling at both the ride and Jaune's screaming and I was squeezing Pyrrha's hand the whole time until it was over.

Once we got off I stumbled and fell on Pyrrha, who caught me. "Y/n? Are you okay?" "Ye-yeah just a-a bit dizzy" Pyrrha looked around for a seating area, once she found one she took me to it. "Sit here Y/n, I'm gonna go buy you a water" I sat there waiting for Pyrrha to come back and I saw bumper cars! Pyrrha came back and handed me a water bottle. I opened it and took a sip. I put my head in Pyrrha's shoulder "thank you" I mumbled "no problem" she replied and kissed my head.

We sat there for a few more minutes and I finally decided to get up and walk towards the bumper cars as Pyrrha followed. Pyrrha looked at what I was walking towards "hmm never took you as the type of person to like bumper cars Y/n" "Oh, ye-yeah I am kind of" I said embarrassed. Once we got there we entered and got into separate cars. The ride turned on and I quickly turned my car to hit Pyrrha and successfully did so. She faked hurt and then backed up and rammed her car into mine. I sped up in the opposite direction and bumped into someone else's car. I mouthed a small sorry and turned around to find Pyrrha and hit her again. This went on for a few more minutes and then the ride ended.

I tugged on Pyrrha's sleeve and pointed to a big machine that said Trapeze and it had single seater swings and it spins you around. Pyrrha smiled, "you want to go on that?" "Yeah... I need a small break from all of the other rides" She chuckled and we got in line, which was short, and we got in swings. I started to struggle with buckling myself up and then someone started to help me. I looked up to find Pyrrha helping me and I looked back down in embarrassment and heard a chuckle. I was buckled up and Pyrrha went back to her seat and was buckled up herself.

A guy went around making sure everyone was in and help people who weren't and then the ride started, it was slow at first but then started going a little bit faster. Wasn't too fast just fast enough. I closed my eyes and I felt like I was flying, I leaned back and relaxed myself. The ride was over after a few more minutes.

We next went on a UFO like ride. We got on and it was all red inside. The door started to close and it started to spin, faster and faster. At top speed a few people were sitting on the walls and one kid went upside down. Music was blasting and it was surprisingly peaceful.

Pyrrha even managed to sit on the wall for a while but when it was slowing down she started slipping and I laughed and she smiled at me and took my hand. The ride was over now and we walked out hand and hand. "Wh-where do you wa-want to go Pyrrha?" I asked "hmmm.... how about Rock and Roll?" She asked pointing to a ride going super fast backwards. I nervously nodded my head "s-sure" she looked at me, "we don't have to if you don't want to Y/n" "no we-we can" I frantically said. We walked over to the ride and when we got there the last riders were getting off and the new ones were getting on.

We got ourselves a seat and we pulled over our seat buckle things and waited for the guy to go around and check everyone.

I was super nervous about this one but if Pyrrha wanted to do it, I'll do it. the guy checked everyone and the ride started forward slowly and then gradually got faster and faster. I was on the inside and I felt like I was going to fall off because I was go close to the ground. I took my hand off a little so I could hold Pyrrha's hand, and she quickly took my hand as well. The ride slowed down but the conductor person said, "don't get out of your seats, the ride isn't over! Now we're going backwards faster and faster!" And then the ride started going backwards. I whimpered a little and tighten my grip around Pyrrha's hand.

The ride was finally over. Pyrrha and I walked out and I was stumbling over my feet a little as we got off.

It was dark out now and all of the light were on and it was beautiful. Pyrrha dragged me to another ride and when I looked at it I saw it was a Ferris Wheel. "I wanted to end the date with this ride" Pyrrha said and gave me a smile with a light blush on her face. I hugged her and we were next and got in the cart. I put my head on her shoulder with a huge blush and to make it worse she grabbed my hand and kissed my head.

As we slowly went to the top we were keeping our eyes on the fair below us. "Y/n, you're so beautiful" Pyrrha whispered gently in my ear and started to play with my hair "Py-Pyrrha! S-stop it!" I yelled quietly (if that makes any sense) When we looked at where we were, we found out we were at the top.

Pyrrha smiled and looked at me "Y/n, look at me" I slowly turned and looked at Pyrrha, her green eyes glowing bright and her hair was shining dimly. She leaned in and closed her eyes as mine widen. Our lips got closer and closer when they finally touched. Her lips were soft against mine and it felt so right. She tangled her hand in my hair and played with it a little and I closed my eyes and could feel my face heating up as the kiss went on. Since the human body needs stupid oxygen, we had to pull apart. We were both panting and were looking at each other in the eyes. We both smiled at each other and we were at the bottom now.

We got off and left the fair. We stopped at an ice cream parlor and then started back to Beacon. Pyrrha walked me to my dorm "Y/n is it alright if I stay here for a little while?" "Huh? Oh yeah you-you can" I stuttered.
