*See you again I guess.
******
*********"Oh Gosh, No." I hide my face with my tiny hands. Mom is standing with a man in a tuxedo.
They are holding a very huge pink board with stickers and stars even glitter. The board is written Lizard and they can see me. They keep waving at me like two retarded seals. Sure they would see my puffy hair, I just wasn't ready for the attention and the eyes.
"So that's your mom, now I know were the silly side comes from." Leo says and I swat his arm to which he dramatically responds with an ouch.
"This is it I guess, I can't, I dont want to say goodbye, I hate goodbyes." I look at him and his smile fades
"Silly this is a huge city, dont keep your hopes high." He says
"No Stranger, you never know mabey I might see you again so .... See you again stranger." I sigh and give him a weak smile
"See you again I guess." He says as he moves away from me and digs he's fingers through his long silky dark brown pushed back hair, I wish I could do that for him...what is wrong with me??...
He disappears in the crowd and my heart falters. He is gone, Stranger is gone, and now my life suddenly feels difficult. I move towards the pink board and my mom engulfs me in a loving and warm hug, a hug I missed.
"Honey how was the flight?" She asks and her face totally lit up after seeing me, her question makes me think of Stranger. How was my Flight?,it was great I sat next to this attractive boy with an interesting personality and he made me forget about you, my family and friends, sorry mom but I can't tell you much about my flight.
"It was exhausting, can we please go now, I need to sleep and some people are constantly staring at us mom." I whisper and she laughs at me like I am the mad one.
"Fine let's go."********
********As the car moves my sleep invades my eyes and I cant lift them up anymore even though I want to look at the city so bad. My drousy eyes slowly close allowing me to take sight of the lights and noise of cars passing by blurred.
" Wake up Lizard, we are here." Mom whispers patting my back. I lift my head up and give in all the power I have as I lift myself out of the car. A cold breeze hits me waking me up from my half asleep brain. I lift my head only to be magnified by the huge mansion in front of me, why does she spend so much. I zip up my jacket and follow after her walking away figure. The man in black follows with my luggage, I can manage my own stuff why does a butler have to help me.
The house looks beautiful on the outside and more on the inside. I take in the new oxygen, the bright chandeliers, the dark grey walls making a perfect blend with the furniture.
"Your room is upstairs last door to your left, Sam brought you luggage upstairs already" Mom says gesturing her had to the dark middle aged man in black.
"Thanks Sam." I give him a greatful smile and he nods back.
I make my way up the long stairs and make a left turn down the passage, there are two people that live here, mom and me. Why are the rooms never ending?.
I open the door to the last room, the lights are up so bright and the walls are surprisingly black and white in all the perfect places. A huge painting of the Paris Eiffel Tower is traced on a wall near a stage. A stage?, now I get why mom left early she wanted to make me feel home when I got here. A guitar is in its box and placed neatly next to a tall brown chair. Next to the chair is a mike stand and a cordless mike. I tear my gaze away from the small yet perfect stage and stare at the huge book case with all my favourite books and books I still want to read. I stair over the study office to my Queen size bed that is classic and has Paris towers sketched on it, the black and white mixing with red cover sheets and a red heart shaped pillow in the middle. Overall my room was a classic Red, Black and White and it was beautiful. I'm sure I missed a bunch of stuff but I'm too tired to admire this room any much longer. I reach for the red gown mom must have recently bought. I take off all my clothing leaving on only my undies. Too lazy to look for my PJs I wear the big red hoodie gown and throw myself on the bed. My body is aching and I think I'm restless but nevertheless I close my eyes and count my sheep, let's just hope I fall asleep. Wait that rhymes.
