it all happened on a rainy november night. taehyung was tucked in bed, his limbs tangled with his fresh bedsheets, his soft breaths were accompanied by the rain that gently bore off of his window, the ember street lamps illuminated the roads and pavements. there were a couple of bangs on the quiet boys door. "come in." he groaned, sitting up slightly. "i have some good news to tell you, come downstairs." the blonde boy sighed, rolling out from the comfort of his sheets. "and please put a shirt on, we have guests." taehyung froze. "guests? it's six in the evening, whos round at this time." an excited squeal left her lips as he put her hand over her mouth and fanned her face using her free hand. "just hurry." his mother smiled, running downstairs.
taehyung walked into his living room, glaring in awe at the ebony haired male sat on his couch, a frown plastered on his lips. "tae, darling— meet your new stepbrother and father, jungkook and junghoon." looking at his mother, taehyung shook his head. "n-no, no this can't be." he bit back a frown. "what's wrong honey?" shaking his head, the blonde rushed to his room. "you should go introduce yourself to him." she smiled, watching jungkook chase after her son.
"tae?" jungkook pushed open his boyfriends bedroom door and saw him wrapped in his duvet, tears brimming in his eyes. "baby." taehyung looked up and shushed the ravenette. "you can't call me that, not while they're here." edging towards his bed, jungkook slid into the covers and looked at taehyung worryingly. "we could just tell them, that we've been dating for years." the blonde hissed at the idea. "and what? get kicked out? i have to finish my education, before i even think of bringing up that topic." a muscular arm slid around taehyung's back and softly pulled him close and embraced him. "my dad will murder me." jungkook frowned, his hands tangled with taehyung's blonde locks, gently massaging his scalp.
the two were shouted downstairs after an hour for their dinner, taehyung groaned, lifting his aching head from his boyfriend's chest. "life is so horrible to me." he groaned. "look at me," jungkook softly gripped his (taehyung's) chin and kissed his rosy lips softly. "we can figure this out, don't worry." taehyung pulled away, his hazel eyes glistening with hope. "i'm trusting you." grabbing his hoodie, and pulling it over his old shirt, the blonde walked downstairs.
they were all sat at the dinner table, kimchi piled on their plates. "so, how do you feel about jungkook, tae." his mother smiled, sipping her glass of iced water. "he's fine." the ravenette glanced at his boyfriend, across the table "just fine?" he quirked his eyebrows, taehyung went bright red and shook his head, looking at his plate— a sickening feeling brewing in his stomach. "tae, are you okay?" his mother snapped her fingers in front of his face. "i- i have to go." scampering away from the table, he uncovered his mouth, throwing up a clear, thick liquid into the toilet. "fuck," he coughed, staring at his shaking hands. jungkook barged into the bathroom, wrapping his arms around taehyung.
