6:15 am
We arrived at the safe house much later. The house is much smaller than the previous but hidden enough where we could possibly stay a couple days. Everyone settled in their rooms and slept for the remainder of the morning. As for Harry and I, we didn't sleep, we couldn't sleep. We didn't speak to each other, we just laid in bed, my head laying on his chest as we watched the sun peek through our bedroom window.
"Do you want breakfast?" Harry hums as he played with my hair.
"No, I'm fine," I grumbled in response.
Food at this point has been the last thing on my mind nowadays. I only eat when Harry starts to worry and beg me to eat. I have no real reason to avoid eating other than the constant worry I'm in, now it's just the fact that I was having the worst possible day of my life.
"She'll be fine, she's your daughter," he jokes.
"Yeah? What's the supposed to mean?" I can't help but smile.
He chuckles, "she's going to be very stubborn but very badass."
"I know she will, because she's our daughter," I emphasize.
I slowly sit up and glance out the window. The morning seemed too quiet and at peace but it seemed it could be set off any second. I felt a build up on anxiety and I got out of bed.
"You alright?" Harry asks.
I nod, "yeah, I'm just gonna try do anything so I don't drive myself insane."
"Why don't you try to sleep?"
"That's the last thing I'm going to do Harry."
He knows he really couldn't convince me to stay in bed and quietly says, "okay."
I leave him and the room as I walk around the house. The house was already too clean, so I couldn't clean anything. So I made my way outside where there was the patio set, and sat in a chair looking out to the jungle that surrounded the home.
My eyes looked at every detail surrounding me, making sure nothing as a threat was going to happen, I kept having this feeling. It only grew as I kept looking out and I realized I may just be losing my mind from this severe paranoia. It is possible that I need some sleep. I hear footsteps come from the house and a head peeks outside.
"Morning," Zayn greets me.
"Morning."
He steps outside and looks around, "did you sleep?"
"Nothing at all," I rub my eyes as they burned from the lack of sleep.
He takes a seat next to me, "yeah, nor did I. Jade is sleeping like a baby, so I'm content with just that."
"Has she not slept well either?"
"Not for the past two nights, I was starting to get worried."
"Well at least she's now resting."
"And how about you?" He raises he brow at me.
I snort, "nice, but no."
"You're worrying him too, ya know," he says referring to Harry.
"Of course he is, he always is."
"Well-"
And in that immediate moment we hear a faint rumbling coming from a distance and we both shut up and listen.
We stay silent and I feel my hands starting to shake, "Zayn?" I whisper.
"Julia, get inside"
"But what was that?"
