Today is Beth and Chris's graduation, they will be walking across the stage and taking their well-deserved diploma.
Bethany Dean
Her name was called over the loudspeaker to go and grab her diploma. Beth walked up there being the most nervous she has probably ever been in her entire life.
Once she got up on the stage, she shook her teachers and principals hands. Then she grabbed the diploma and walked the stage, forever marking her time spent in high school, all the goods and bads, ups and downs. That is all a beautiful memory now.
About 20 minutes later her boyfriend's name was called: Christopher Jenkins
He got up out of his seat almost tripping on the blue robe. He put on a tough guy act walking up to the stage when he was in fact very nervous and excited.
He did the same thing that his girlfriend had done not that long ago as he felt all the memories come back to him at once almost making him cry.
He held back his tears until he got to Beth, where he just let his bittersweet tears just run down his face, causing Beth to have the same reaction, understanding just how he was feeling.
They grabbed hands and sat back down waiting for the rest of the graduating class of 2018's names to be called.
Once everyone names were called they threw their caps in the air and cheered recognizing their starts as adults.
