Archangel : The Forest of Doom

Chapter 1

    As I stepped out of the library with my hands filled with books, I felt something and for some reason it started getting cold. Out of no where I see a white feather falling out of the sky, I reached out for the feather and grabbed it. It was glowing and when I looked closer I heard a strange voice. Everything around me just felt like it had stopped. I'm not sure what it said but as soon as the voice stopped the feather stopped glowing and everything went back to normal. After it had happened I had already forgotten most of it but for some reason I now remember why I suddenly had a feather in my hand.

I felt a headache afterwords so I headed home, I was supposed to go with the group on an adventure out in the forest, but that didn't bother me because I didn't want to go anyways. Those guys are crazy, they wanted to try to find an angel. The forest is a very dangerous place and it can sometimes make you think something is there but in reality there is nothing there. People who are angels or people with angel magic/powers are extremely rare and they are said to be extinct. My group doesn't believe that, we all think there's an angel out there because there are way too many wars. Ever since the angel kind went extinct there are so many wars happening. The angels kept the world balanced and they were the only ones able to do that. Everything changed when someday all of the angels just disappeared. One day I was walking in the forest alone and I heard strange sounds. I got really scared so I ran away but ever since that day strange things kept happening like the feather that suddenly fell out of the sky. I told my friends and they said that we needed to explore the forest because it could be an angel.

I was heading home when out of no where I receive a call from one of my friends in the group. I pick up and say, "hello?" I could hear screams and suddenly someone yells into the phone, "IVIKO COME TO FOREST AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, CODE RED!". I suddenly turn back and start to run as fast as I could. I nearly face planted and dropped my books, but that was when I realized I had forgotten my bow and my dagger. I kept running anyways because the gang was freaking out.

     Finally I'm there and all I see is everyone in the ground. I start freaking out, keep shaking them in fear and out of no were Endo come behind me and shakes me while shouting at me. "AHHHHHH", I scream like a girl  freaking out even more and everyone just bursts down laughing while getting up. "Very funny guys, you scared me to death you idiots!", I say catching my breath, "I mean, I could have punched you Endo". I say angrily at Endo.

"Relax we know the first thing you'd do is run away like a little girl just like you screamed like a little girl", I cover my mouth,"did I?!", everyone just looks at me nodding silently. "Anyways, we knew you weren't coming but since we really need you because you can heal us if anything happens. We decided to pull a little prank on you." Lucia says with a sweet voice. She's always sweet talking everyone, she is probably the nicest person in the group and the most manipulative. She has green eyes and long brown curly hair. She was pretty and all but our gang new not to let her looks fool you. "I don't get why you don't want to come to the forest with us Ivi, I mean, that's why we created our group in the first place." Lauren says. "It's too dangerous out here, you know that people get lost in these woods and when they are found they aren't themselves anymore. Remember Phill?" I say. Then suddenly everyone gets in a sad mood. "Why do you always bring up Phill? He went here alone, but we have each other now."  Damian says kind of angry at me, but I understand him now. Phill was such a adventurous and a nice person but ever since he got lost one day in the woods he was never the same again. When we found him he suddenly didn't want to talk to us and every time we came to his house and knocked the door he cussed us out and slammed the door on us. One day when we came to his door it was open and when we walked in we saw that he had hung himself. We couldn't believe it, the shock on his mom's eye, I had sleepless nights for a long time afterwords.

     "I'm sorry everyone, I didn't mean to I was just mad." I said feeling stupid at myself for bringing up Phil. "I'll go with you guys, but if we get in danger we are heading out of here." "Why do you have to be such a wuss" Endo says. "No more arguments everyone, let's just get this over with. We've been wanting to explore this damn forest ever since Ivi first went here and had that happen to him." Damian says while getting his water bottle out.
"Alright, sorry Ivi." Endo says."it's alright, we all get heated sometimes and say things we don't mean to." I say. "Alright, now that we have everyone let's do this guys!" Lucia says jumping happily. "Wait", I say and everyone turns their heads back at me. "What now?" Everyone says. "I forgot my bow and dagger at home.." I say laughing weirdly."IVIKO YOU IDIOT!" Everyone shouts in an angry voice.
