The Alpha and Luna (Slow updates)

Chapter 1

 Being the most feared female alpha isn't the easiest job in the world. Now don't get me wrong I love my pack with all my heart and would do anything for them, just not having a mate makes me feel empty. Every since I was 12 I've dreamt about finding my mate. Normaly wolfs find their mate when they're 17, I wasn't that lucky sadly. I know my pack worries about me but I'm fine. I havegone 21 years without a mate I can go 21 years more. The rason i'm the number one most feared alpha in the world is because of my hate for rouges, rouges killed half of my family. When I say half my family, I mean half my pack and my parents. I have one of the largest packs now though. But the only thing I feel like I really have left of my parents, besides their belongings and pack, is my little brother Colby. Colby is mates with one of my best friends Cassie, Cassie is also my beta. My gemmie is my other best friend Destiny, she is mateless like me.

I wake up this morning and shower then make my way to breakfast. On my way down to breakfast I run into my little brother, "Goodmorning Colby." He almost screamed when he heard me, "I hate you! You almost gave me a heartattack!" "I know, I can hear that." He laughed, "Goodmorning to you too my lovely sister." We finally got to the kitchen were I see Cassie and Destiny cooking breakfast. "Oh my god that smells killer girls!" I said competely starving. They both laughed and in unison said "Thank you." and laughed harder. As were sat down to eat I desided to talk about our trip we have to take tomorrow morning. "So, are y'all all packed for tomorrow?" I absolutely hated taking this trip, this was an anually trip we had to take because once a year all the  alphas and their 2nd and 3rd in command in the country sit down to talk pack bussiness. This year the 2nd deadliest will be attending, he was ruthless and cold hearted and i wanted nothing to do with him. "Yeah, everything besides the stuff Ihave to use in the morning." Cassie sighed. "Look I don't want to go either,but we have no choice my father started it and Ihave to continue it." My heart broke a little when I talked about my father, he was the king of werewolfs, meaning my crule uncle is king of rouges. Destiny just rubbed my arm. She was there with me after the fight when I found them, 7 ft from the pack house dead. I cleared my throught, "Colby are you ready to go to the pack house, so Ican leave you in charge while I'm gone?" I was so worried about leaving my brother here to run things while im gone. In the past I usually leave Destiny in charge, but this year is different. "Yeah, I guess." he Kissed Cassie on the head before running to my side to walk with me to the pack house.

I sat behind my big desk teaching and talking to my brother on how things are supposed to go while I'm gone. "Lori, chill I've got this. Do you not trust me?" "Colby no its not that, I'm jst worried. We're going to be gone longer than usual, what happens if theres an rouge attack while I' m gone, or...." "Lori, if there is a rouge attack we'll take care of it. I'll be fine." "I know, its just hard. You're all I have left Colby." I couldn'thold it back anymore, all the tears just lt loose. I don't usally cry, and if I do its in the shower so I can't tell if I'm crying. Colby comes around to my side of the desk and hugs me til I stop crying. "Lori you'll never loose me, or this pack. You're strong and amazing. I'm just glad I don't have to be all protect and beat up some guy." We both busted out laughing. Just then my phone buzzed, it was a text from Cassie sayin it was time for dinner. Sometimes shes such a mom. After dinner I take a shower and let the darkness consume me.
