Prolog

The day was sunny and quiet, peaceful the trees swayed in the autumn breeze, but all was not well, slinking in the shadows were Shadowclan cats their leader, a black and white spotted tom, named Russetstar lead signaling with his tail to follow swiftly and silently as they crossed into Skyclan territory.

“Attack” He yowled as they came in site of the camp.

The cats of Skyclan, caught unprepared, hurried to rush the kits inside of the nursery and the elders in their den. While the rest of the warriors waited for their leader, a young copper colored she-cat her stomach slightly rounder with kits, Leafstar to signal what to do.

“Skyclan ATTACK!” She yowled as she running into battle the warriors following her along with the 2 apprentices, Mintpaw and Sagepaw.

Chapter 1

Away from the forest and the clans there was a tiny she-cat, a kit, her pelt pure black and her eyes a dark blue, lay. Soon she got up and saw the morning sky above unaware of what was happening in the clans. Sighing she started walking, where? She didn’t even know. For as far back as she could remember she had walked alone, but she did remember a time when she was an even smaller kit and was wriggling around with two other, her brother and sister, then a scent hit her nose that she or her siblings didn’t know, but her mother did. Later she identified it as a fox that took her mother and her brother and sister. The only reason that she walked now was that her eyes opened and she ran away on her short legs. She had learned to hunt for herself not to mention fight, but where she was prey was scarce, at least to her.

As soon as I was born I was a loner. She thought miserably crossing into another cat’s territory. The fright of a cat catching her was gone it had worn out as soon as she beat her first cat and crossed thought their territory.

This territory has many more cats thought. She thought smelling the air for prey.

Soon she could smell a nice rabbit. Staying downwind of it, she leaped catching it with one paw and killing it with her teeth. Quickly and hungrily she ate.

A few more days’ journey from here I will be here my father once walked! She thought as she continued thought the territory to another fishier one then to the mountains is where she stopped after the several days.
