Chapter 2

My father was here she thought again as the snow from the mountains started falling again making it hard to see and walk. Her black pelt kept her warmer than another cats, but made her easier to see in the snow so here she had to be careful especially because she smelled cats here to and they would have to be tough to live in these conditions. Continuing on I looked around for some kind of cave or even a dent in the snow to rest. Finding a place curved by the snow to be a little cave, but it was just big enough for her since she was only 5 moons old. Then she curled up to sleep.

I was running. Faster and faster though the forest.

“Father!” I yelled urgently searching for him knowing something was about to happen, but not knowing what.

“Father!” I yelled again.

Slowly he turned and stopped.

“Little one you have come far, but you have challenges to face daughter you fight well for now.” He said turning back around.

“Wait Father at least tell me your name!” I yelled trying to find out at least one thing about this cat that was so familiar, but so strange.

He looks over his shoulder at me.

“Scourge.”

I wake up my dream still fresh in my head.

“Scourge…” I think the name seeming familiar like I heard it somewhere before, but I couldn’t quiet put my paw on it….

Shaking my head to clear it I got up again and began to walk through the mountain again.
