Chapter 4

   After the little game of dodge ball in gym Misty was pulled aside by Jack with Dan right behind him. "Alright. What just happened? Why was it when you threw the ball that it was so fast?" Jack ask with a frown on his face. "I don't know what you're talking about, man. I guess you're just over looking things. Or you're just making stuff up because you don't want to believe that you lose to a girl in dodge ball game and an arm wrestle. Now let me go before I make you." Misty said with her eye went from a forest green to a reddish-green with a tint of red in it.

After the change in eye color Jack let go of Misty's arm, fearing if he didn't something bad would happen. "F-fine but this isn't over, Rakes. You haven't seen the last of me. I will be bac- AHHH!" "You talk to much. Just leave already." Misty said with a bored expression on as she kicked Jack in the face not caring that she has a skirt on. "Alright, alright. You big meanie." Jack said holding his nose. "Finally. Later." Misty said waving her hand while walking to her next class, dance. Misty wasn't the one to pick dance or choir, this was the fact that she had a very low confidence, but can give anyone a beat down in seconds.

   Misty made it to dance with 5 minutes to spare. "Oh you must be new here. My name is Mrs. Twist. What is your name, dear?" The dance teacher ask. "My name is Misty Rakes, ma'am." Misty said with her head down. Misty also doesn't like attention either. "Wait. You mean the Misty Rakes? The one who saved this country with her friends. That Misty Rakes?" One of the boys asked. Misty cringed at that. "Yes." Misty couldn't say anything but that.

"Oh well do you have any hidden talents, dear?" Mrs. Twist ask Misty. "I don't know, I can make medicine for anything and everything. I can make machines of all kind. I can stand on my head and do the splits. I can some what dance and sing. I can draw. I can answer really complex math/science problems or equations. Oh and I can ride a bike with no hands through a ring of fire with my eyes closed. And I think that's all but those aren't really impressive." Misty said with a bored expression. "To me I'm not very talented like my fam-friends." Misty said looking down at the floor thinking of all the good times with her family. I miss you guys so much. I wish y'all were still alive. I'm broken without y'all. Misty thought.

"Miss Rakes. Those talents of yours are ever impressive don't doubt yourself, dear. Now your seat will be next to Mr. Reyes." Mrs. Twist said with a kind smile. Once called on a kid with blue hair and blue eyes to match stood up with a kind smile on his face. "Ok." Misty said walking up to the smiling boy.

"Hi, I'm Todo Reyes. But you can call me Todo-kun. It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Rakes." Todo said holding his hand out for Misty to shake. "It's a pleasure to meet you too. But please call me Misty or Mist. With no 'Miss' in front." Misty said shaking his hand. "Oh I'm sorry. I'm so use to having to call people by their last name and putting 'Miss(Ms/Mrs) or Mr in beginning. Can I call you Mist-kun instead?" Todo ask Misty.

"Sure. Wait how old are you, Todo-kun?" Misty ask Todo. "Oh I'm 18. How old are you, Mist-kun?" Todo ask. "Me? I'm 19." Misty answered. "Oh so you're older then me by a year or month or week or day. My birthday is July 16, and I was born in the year of 2005. When's yours?" Todo ask Misty. "Mine is June 10, and the year is 2004." Misty answered. "So that means that you're older then me by 1 year, 1 month, and 6 days." Todo said. "Yep." Misty said plainly.

For the whole class period Misty and Todo talked about things they wanted to be when much older and things they like. And just like that they became best friends. "I'll see you at the park tomorrow, Mist-kun?" Todo ask. "Wouldn't miss it." Misty answered with a smiled.

"MOMMA!" Misty turned around just in time to catch her 9 and 8 year old sons. "Woah. What are you 2 monkeys doing here?" Misty ask boobing both of their noses. They both giggled and said "We want to surprise mommy before she got out of school. But I guess we were a little late." "Mist-kun? Are they your sons? If so, how you're so young?" Todo ask. "It happened 3 years ago, Todo-kun. I founded these 2 rays of sunshine in the woods, behinds a tree, hugging each other." Misty answered.

"Oh. Well you're right about them being little rays of sunshine. Their so adorable! You are one lucky girl!" Todo said with a bright smile. "Well, see you later, Todo-kun!" Misty shouted walking away with Shion in her arms and Shizaky on her back. "See you later as well, Mist-kun!" Todo shouted walking the opposite direction of Misty.
