Chapter 7

Time Skip~ 3 months later

It's been 3 months since Misty's father was murdered. She started going back to how she was during the zombie invasion. "Ah! Hello dear Misty. How are you doing this fine evening?" Jack asked Misty when he saw her walk through the opening. "I'm doing fine today, Jackster." She replied back. "Mist, is there something wrong? I can tell that you're not the same energetic girl I met 3 months ago. While after I cheered you up that is." Jack questioned. "It's just... none of my friends know what it feels like to watch and kill your family! One of them lost their's but it was before the whole invasion, two of them have  their family missing before the invasion, three more of them have their family with them; alive and well, and the last one their family was in an under ground base the entire invasion! I'm the only one who had to see their family slowly turn, and when they did I had to kill them! I was the only one who suffered the most!" Misty yelled while tears ran rapidly down from her eyes to her cheek and then to her chin.

Misty is not one to cry in front of other people. But right now she doesn't care anymore. She's been coming more violent and closed up from everyone and everything. "Mist it's ok. Please stop crying. Please. You still have me. I may not be the best, but at less you'll know that you're not alone." Jack said hugging Misty. "Thanks, Jack, I really needed that." Misty said softy hugging back.

Misty still had tears coming down her face. "I think I should be heading home now, Jack." Misty said wiping the rest of her tears away. "I guess so. I'll see you tomorrow then?" Jack said walking her half way to the edge of the woods. "I'm sorry, Jack. The guys decided to plan a trip for us to go to. For the next 3 weeks. They said it will help me relax and forget about somethings. But don't worry, Jackster. I'll bring you something or things back. And I'll take pictures." Misty said with a small smile. "Alright, Mist. I'll wait for you." Jack said with a sad smile. "See ya in 3 weeks!" Misty yelled run out of the woods. "See you in 3 weeks!" Jack yelled out after her.
