"Annie, aiden will be fine. he will facetime you everyday." mommy patted my back.
"mom..." i started to say.
"anns, please don't pass up this opportunity. you want a singing career, and this is your starting point, take this offer, your beautiful voice needs to be heard. ." daddy said.
i just sat there, with no words to say.
"and the best part is, you get to be on tour with me!"
i turned around to see paige, standing at the doorway, with luggages behind her.
"PAIGE!" i screamed. she opened her arms for a hug. i hugged her super tight, not wanting to let go.
after awhile, she put me down, and we both sat down on the bed, next to mommy and daddy.
"please annie. accept it, aiden loves to see people cheering for you, and you know that." mommy smiled.
"you're right." i said.
"this is a door waiting to be opened." paige added.
it went silent.
"mommy, daddy, and paige, im ready to start this chapter of my life."
"we love you so much annie! now, lets turn the page." mommy said, as we all hugged.

"here are all of your luggages banannie." daddy walked in, with so many luggages.
"daddy, i dont think i need 10." i chuckled.
"you'll be gone for four months, im pretty sure you do." he laughed.
I smiled, as i rolled the rest of the luggages into my room.
i grabbed one of the luggages, set it down, and unzipped it. i sat there, looking at the empty luggage, as a tear began to roll down. it was unbelievable, im going to leave maryland, my home for about four months, so my singing career can take off.
more tears came down, I was unsure if it was tears of joy, or sadness.
after a little while, i decided to pick up my phone, and text brennan.

"hey anns, im he- woah, why do you have like 30 luggages." brennan gasped.
"this is why i needed to talk to you."
"you're not moving.... are you?!"
"no no no."
"GOOD!"
"brennan. sit down." i said.
"talk. im getting worried annie."
"im, going on t...our, for four month...s" i stuttered.
"WHAT? REALLY? IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! OH MY GOSH!" he yelled with excitement, as he came to hug me.
"but that means four months of not hanging out." i pouted, as we released.
"it's okay annie! i want you to go. we can text, face time, like all best friends do!" he smiled.
"oh man, im going to miss you." i laughed.
"im going to miss you too, when do you leave? next week? a month, we have to get planning on what we're going to do before you leave." he explained.
"brennan, i leave tomorrow."
"you, wh..at?" he stuttered.
"i leave tomorrow."
"why didn't you tell me ahead of time? we could've done something together."
"i just found out today."
"oh."
"like you said, we can text, and facetime." i said, trying to lighten the mood.
"yeah, I'd like that. i just didn't think you were going to leave so sudden." he said.
"me too."
"did you tell lexi?"
"OH SHOOT I FORGOT!"
"TELL HER!" he said.
i took out my phone again, and pressed the facetime icon.
"HEY BEST FRIEND!" she screamed through the phone.
