"owwwww let go." i laughed. "why'd you take me out here?" i asked as we sat down on the bench outside of the restaurant.
"because im sick and tired of you and hayden acting like everything is okay when you're not talking to each other, when you know it's killing you both inside."
"brec... i-"

Day 3 of tour: April 20th, 2017.
"brec.. i.. i-i know it is killing me inside. hayden was my first friend in LA, so he means the whole world to me. and when he said those things.. i felt so hurt. it made me feel terrible. brec... i just don't think me and hayden will ever be okay." i stuttered.
"wait, what did he say?" she asked.
"i thought you knew?" i said confused.
"no, i didnt? no one told me." she said.
"hayden said he was only my friend for tour." i sighed.
"there's no way he said that." she said.
"well he did, unfortunately."
"im pretty sure hayden didn't mean it that way."
"oh."
"it's hurting him deep down that you're not talking to him. dont run away for your guys is problems, fix them. the days you arent talking, is wasted days, You'll never get them back."
"im not sure if im ready to talk him.."
"annie."
"yeah?"
"everyday that goes by where you two aren't talking is going to kill you slowly inside. when dylan and i argue and we dont talk, it makes me miserable. i love him so much, that when we dont talk, i don't know what to do with myself, and i dont want that to happen to you guys."
"brec.. it already happened."
after i said that, she left me outside and walked back into the restaurant.
"annie.." I heard a voice say as i was getting up to walk in.
i turned back to see hayden.

"annie." i said.
she looked back, and saw me, but she didn't say a word. "you know, it doesn't hurt to say hey." i chuckled.
"you know, sometimes it does." she said.
"can you hear me out? please." i said.
"sure." she said, scooting over so i can sit next to her."i didn't mean it like that. i swear i-"
but she interrupted me."then how did you mean it? im pretty sure you told her you were only my friend for tour. what was that supposed to mean? that if it wasn't for tour and we just met out of the blue you wouldn't be my friend? i thought you cared about me. I really did. you treated me like i was the only girl in the world but then, suddenly it felt like you treated me like i was nothing."
"the words i told her that day, came out wrong. i am your friend because we are on tour together. but im not your friend just because of tour. if that makes sense. basically what im saying is, if it wasn't for tour, we wouldn't have been friends. And im not those fake people who just want to be your friends BECAUSE they have too. im your friend because i WANT to be. i care about you annie, i really do. i didnt know you were going to come into my life 10 days ago, and be my best friend. it killed me inside to know i hurt you. im dumb for that, i really am, and i admit to my mistake."
"hayden, do you really care about me?"
"i care about you more than anyone else."
"im sorry, i guess i should've heard the side of your story. i shouldnt have ran away from our problems like that." annie sighed.
"annie it takes two people to be apart of a FRIENDSHIP. are you willing to be that second person?"
"of course." she smiled, then she laid her head on me. "i was losing it when we weren't talking, texan." she chuckled.
"same here annikan."
