Episode 8

You and Ruby are riding up the elevator to Professor Ozpin's office to help shed some light on last night's event. Although for some reason Ruby decide to press all of the buttons on the way up, slowing down your progress. After 10 minutes you finally manage to get to the top floor and the doors open to reveal General Ironwood and Professor Goodwitch arguing.

Ozpin: Come in.

You and Ruby step out of the elevators and into his office.

Ruby: Sorry we took so long. Someone accidentally hit all the buttons on the way up here. It wasn't me.

Y/N: Not the best moment to say the Ruby.

Ozpin: It doesn't matter thank you for coming you two. How are you feeling?

Y/N: Well my face doesn't feel numb anymore.

Ruby: Okay I guess I'd feel better if my bad guy catching record wasn't 0 for 3.

The professors just stare at Ruby as she awkwardly rubs her neck.

Ruby: Okay so that's the tone we're going for got it.

Ironwood: Y/N, Ruby I feel its appropriate to let you two know that what you did last night is exactly what being a huntress and Huntsman is all about. You recognized a threat, took action, and did the very best you could.

Ruby: Thank you sir.

Ozpin: Now the general here has already informed of the events that... transpired last night, but now that you've rested, we were wondering if either the two of you had anything else to add.

Glynda: Was anyone else with her? Did she look familiar to you at all?

Ruby: I don't know. She was wearing a mask and she never said anything to me, but I know she fought with glass. I don't think that was her semblance though. Her clothing lit up whenever she attacked.

Glynda: Save for the glass, that sounds like the woman I fought the night I met Ruby and Y/N.

Ironwood: Embedding dust into clothing is an age old technique it could've been anyone.

Ruby: Wait... you think this girl is connected to Torchwick and the White Fang.

Y/N: Well she has to be Ruby she was the one piloting the bullhead that picked up Roman.

Ozpin: It is a possibility, but we still lack the required evidence to link the two together.

Ruby takes a quick pause before suddenly answering Professor Ozpin

Ruby: Actually I think I remember her saying something about a hideout, or something, in the southeast. Just outside the Kingdom.

Whatever Ruby was planning to do you decided to stay quiet, you turned to her and notice the serious look she's giving you.

Ozpin: Interesting.

Glynda: I thought you said the intruder never....

Ozpin: Thank you for you're cooperation Ruby, Y/N. Why don't you go and spend some time with your teammates, you have a big day ahead of you.

Y/N: No problem headmaster.

You and Ruby turn around and start walking to the elevator before Ozpin stop you.

Ozpin: Also you two, please try and be discreet about this matter.

Ruby: Yes sir.

The two of you get inside the elevator and manage to get to the first floor, without Ruby's constant stop at every floor and get to your dorm. Just as you're about to open the door Yang, Blake, and Weiss quickly rush to you.
