RWBY: Ruby Rose x Male Faunus Reader Season 2

Episode 2

Y/N: Damn where the hell could they be.

You were wandering around in the library trying to look for your team, since Team JNPR said they would be here. As you were about to give up and start looking in the hallways again you caught a glimpse of them sitting at a table playing a board game. 

Y/N:  Finally I found you girls. What are you all doing?

Blake: (sarcastically) Apparently having fun, playing Remnant.

Y/N: (laughing) Geez Blake at least try.

Ruby: Well I am about to win this game!

Y/N: Really what makes you so sure.

Ruby: Oh nothing just a little surprise I have for Yang.

Yang smirks at Ruby's remark, but doesn't say anything.

Y/N: Well make some room for me Ruby, I'm tired of standing.

Ruby: But we can't share one seat.... the chairs are too small!!

Y/N: Well then just sit right here then. 

You lift her up and set her down on your lap before sitting down on the chair. Ruby grows red by your sudden decision as she starts to nervously stutter.

Y/N: Come on Ruby, let's win this game together. I'll be your..... nation's tactual advisor or something like that.

Ruby refocuses on the game again and looks back at the board with determination on her face.

Ruby: Alright! Yang Xiao Long prepare your kingdom for battle!

Yang: Bring it on!

Ruby: I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet. 

Ruby slams her card on the table causing several pieces to shake and Yang to gasp.

Ruby: Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!

Yang: You fiend!

Ruby: And since Atlas is part of Mantle my repair time is only one turn!

Yang: Pretty sneaky sis, but you just activated my trap card Giant Nevermore! 

Yang slams her fist onto the table causing all of the pieces to fall out of place.

Yang: If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!

Ruby: But if you roll a six or lower the Nevermore will turn on your own forces!

Yang: That's just a chance I'm willing to take.

Yang rolls the dice and they spin for several seconds before coming to a stop revealing........ a seven.

Ruby: Nooooo! My fearless soldiers!!!!

Yang: Most of them were probably androids.

Ruby: Goodbye my friends you will be avenged.

Yang: Not until I draw my rewards, which are double this round thanks to the Mistral Trade Route! Oh and what's this? The Smugglers of Wind Path?

Ruby: Bah I say!

Yang: It looks like I'm taking two cards in my hand!

Ruby: Have you no heart?! Why did you watch me lose Y/N? You could've prevented it!

Y/N: Well I was gonna say you should've strengthen your defense by deploying the Grimm Horde, but you just jumped the gun. I didn't even know what was happening until it was too late.
