Me: Yeah, let me just grab my violin.

Carman: Hold on.

Me: What?

Carman: You've played the violin since you were in 5th grade allison.

(True fact about me, okay not important)

Carman: I think it's time for you to learn how to play another instrument.

Me: Like, which instrument?

Carman:  I know you know how to play the piano, and many other random instruments. But you don't know how to play the guitar. Isn't that right?

Me: Yes, but...

Carman: No buts, almost every singer plays the guitar. You dont want to be the few that don't.

Me: okay, but who will teach me, you don't know how to play a guitar as well.

Carman:  I asked the boys, more likely Daniel, to teach you. He'll come by on Friday. Which is in 2 days.

Me: What about Kylie?

Carman: She knows how to play it, she doesn't know how to teach it.

Me: Okay fine, but, can this be my last practice with the violin?

Carman: Of course. Listen, I gotta head out, I have a flight to catch. I'll be back on Saturday.

Me: Bye Carman.

The second I see her drive off, I head back in and start practicing. I wasnt up on me learning a new instrument.

It felt like a million years, learning how to play the piano.

I clear my head and focus. I kept messing up, every time I messed up. I made a loud groan.

Kylie: Hey, calm down. What's messing you up.

Me: The thought of me "needing" To learn how to play a new instrument. Kylie you know who much I struggled when I was learning how to play the piano.

Kylie: fare point, but most of the things Carman makes us do, is gonna help us in the future.

Me:  I guess your right.

I take a deep breath and relaxed a bit. I picked my violin again, I finished the song I was playing and I was done with practice for the day.

I put everything away and run up to my room. I pull out my phone and play on it for a bit.

I get a text message from daniel.

Daniel
Did Carman tell you yet?

Me
About you teaching me how to play a new instrument, then yes. 😒🙄

Daniel
Is that a problem? It doesn't seem your down for it.

Me
I'll just tell you when you come on Friday. It was nothing to do with you, so don't worry.

Daniel
Alright then, see you Friday.

Me
Bye

I throw my phone on the left side of me. I just continue to look at the ceiling. Im just laying on my bed for a while. i look to the right of me and see its sun down. when i finished practice, it was around 3. dang time flied when you do nothing, well for me. 

I decided to head down stairs. Only go down for my laptop i left there yesterday before heading out, and for food. wait... i didnt eat all day. 

i head over to kylie, she's on her phone on ista. 

me: Kylie, have you eaten yet?

Kylie: no i kinda forgot to eat something, now that you mention it. i'm starving.

me: you wanna go get Starbucks and pizza?

Kylie: you read my mind!

we laugh as I get the keys and get in the car Carmen left us. 

okay, its kinda complicated on how we travel or get around. Most of the time we use uber. but other times,  Carmen leaves us her car and takes an uber instead.

once we pull up to Starbucks, we both get out in an instant. Kylie practically ran to the door. I order a simple drink and so does kylie. 

After getting the basic drinks from Starbucks, we head over to get pizza. it was papa johns pizza. we order it to go. As we wait for our food, i get another text from Daniel. i ignore it since i had very little power on my phone. i'll just text him later.

Our order came out and we quickly took it and rushed over to the car. I  hand kylie the car keys and she jumps in. i do as well. 

Arrived....

After eating the whole pizza, our day consisted of me and kylie playing on our Xbox that we had. It was loads of fun, but I started to get tired so I head up stairs and change to some PJs.

I remembered that Daniel sent me a text earlier. I decide to open it up.

Daniel
You have no problem with me teaching you right?

The text wad sent at 4pm, it's now 10pm. I replied to it still. I don't think he'll answer.

Me
No, I promise. Like I said, I'll tell you when you come.

Daniel
What took you so long to reply?

Me
I didn't think you would answer. And cause, when I received the text I had no power.

I lied, my phone had very little power.

Daniel
Set that aside, I'm going back to sleep.

Me
I figured you would've been asleep. Sorry.

Daniel
Don't sweat it, night.

Me
Night.

I put my phone to charge, I cover myself into my blankets and fall asleep.

A/n that cliffhanger wasn't as dramatic as you though, was it. I know this chapter was short, but at least I uploaded.
