Chapter-4

Ayat's happiness was on some another level today, the kind of happiness that she have never experienced. Though it was not her first success but still this time the amount of hardwork she did was appreciable.
Ayat came running and hugged her mother tightly and claimed in happiness, "Ammii! I am very happy today, I got the highest marks and secured the first spot in the presentation".
"Masha Allah, that's a good news. Keep it up" Ammi replied while patting on Ayat's back.
"Go, freshen up and come soon. Today I have made something special for you" Ammi grinned.
"What's that! What's that! Please tell me. Wait a second I can smell biryani from the kitchen" Ayat uttered in excitement.
"Yes, you guessed it right. Now go and come soon" Ammi ordered.
Ayat went upstairs, got changed in comfortable clothes.
"Ammmmiiiii! Please bring the biryani soon, I couldn't resist anymore now" Ayat shouted.
"Here you go" Ammi addredsed while keeping the dish of biryani on the table.
"No one can beat you in making biryani ammi, you make the bestest of all" Ayat said while licking her fingers.
A smile paved way on her mother's lips.
"Now I am done, I can't have anymore" Ayat sighed and sipped in water.
"Ayat, I forgot to tell you that. Today I got a call from Awez's hostel, his school is having 20 days vacation. So, go and pick him up from the hostel today" Ammi ordered.
"Woww! That's great. I will leave after an hour to pick him up" Ayat replied and went in her room.

She performed her asar salah and went to pick up Awez from the hostel.
And guess what she again got stucked in the traffic.
"Why the hell, today all the streets are choked with traffic" she murmured in a rasping tone.
But to her surprise the traffic got released in just a few minutes.
She breathed a sigh of relief and started to drive again.
She got distracted when she got a call from an unknown number. She picked the call and heard his voice from the other side, "I said you many times not to call me, Don't you understand" Ayat said in an angry tone and hanged up the call.
"This guy is getting on my nerves now" Ayat said while clinching her fist.
In that anger, she started driving harshly. After a moment's reflection when she noticed a goat coming from the opposite side, In order to save the goat she tried to lower the speed but lost her control over the gear and bumped into the car which was parked on the sideways.

The car's owner was nearby and when he saw that incident, he came running to the car.
And guess who was the car owner??????????????
Yesss, Yessss, It was none other than Hamza Muzammil.
When Hamza saw the condition of the car, he went angrily towards Ayat's car and saw a women driving the car he angrily said, "You girls don't know how to drive but again you will take the car and experience it, see what you have done to my car, you just broke the lights".
"Oh! Hello, I know very well how to drive the car, and by mistake this thing happened as i lost control over the gear" Ayat said in a chiding tone.
"Omg! Look, how much attitude you are having, you just broke this and instead of apologizing you are arguing. Miss arrogant" Hamza said in a rasping tone.
"You started it first Mr whoever you are" Ayat shouted.
"Don't raise your tone miss" Hamza bridled.
"Sorry for what I have done, as I said you earlier It was just a mistake. I will pay you the cost of repair" Ayat apologized.
"You are apologizing so arrogantly. I don't need any repair cost" Hamza sighed.
"Thank you and sorry again" Ayat apologized again while starting off the car.

"Even after doing a mistake she was arguing with me, strange" Hamza deliberated.
"I need to get this car repaired by today itself as I have to attend a meeting tomorrow, otherwise it will be a great mess" Hamza murmured by looking at the condition of the car.
He then went in search of any mechanic shop nearby and luckily he found one.
He then went there and got his car repaired.

Meanwhile Ayat thought of surprising Awez by taking a gift for him. When she wondered what gift she should take for him, after a moments reflection she thought of giving him a remote control for which he is crazy about. She then bought the car and got it wrapped in a super cool gift wrapper and when she reached the hostel, she found Awez holding a bag in his hand at the gate waiting for her.
After seeing Ayat, Awez came running and hugged her tightly.
"Assalaamu Alaikum Aapi" Awez greeted.
"Walaikum Assalaam my hero" Ayat replied.
"Aapi I was unable to sleep from many days with the excitement of meeting everyone in the family" Awez claimed.
"Awwww! My baby brother" Ayat smiled and pecked on his forehead.
"So, let's go everyone might me waiting for us" Ayat proclaimed, held his hand and headed towards the car.
"Did you missed me aapi?" Awez queried.
"What kind of a question is this Awez? Ofcourse not only me but everyone missed you. How can anyone not miss such a cutie" Ayat cooed while pulling his cheeks.
"After I came to know about the holidays, I was counting each and every day, every day seemed like a year during this whole period" Awez sighed.
"I have a surprise for you cutie pie, close your eyes" Ayat exclaimed.
Awez closed his eyes and was eagerly waiting for the surprise.
"Tadaaaaaaaaa! Your surprise is right in front of you, now open your eyes and see it" Ayat chuckled.
Awez unwrapped the gift and his eyes was filled with happiness after seeing his favourite remote control car.
"This is the bestest gift, Thank you so much aapi. You be the bestest aapi in the world" awez claimed and hugged Ayat.
Ayat then started of the car and headed towards their house.
"I even missed the food made by ammi" Awez said making a puppy face.
"Awwwww! My poor baby. Today ammi made biryani so eat as much as you want" Ayat chuckled.
"Biryani is love" Awez exclaimed.
They reached home. Ammi and Aaliyah aapi welcomed them. The day ended with never ending conversations of awez with the family.
