Ayat's POV:-
I came from the airport and visited ammi in her room. She was sleeping peacefully like a child. I smiled after seeing her.
Then I went upstairs changed in comfortable clothes and offered zuhar salah and took a nap as I was feeling sleepy as always.

I suddenly woke up from my sleep by the weeping sound of Manha. I got freshed and moved down.
Manha was not in a mood to stop crying, I played with her and made her laugh, and finally was able to make her sleep.

I then went in ammi's room to check whether she took the tablets or not. And believe me ammi always act like a child whenever she falls ill, I have to force her to eat tablets on time othetwise she wont eat any of the tablets on her own.
"Ammi why didn't you took your tablets" I glared.
"You know na Ayat I don't like tablets, please now don't force me to eat those bitter tablets.Ewwww!" Ammi said by making a puppy face.
I laughed at it.
"No, never. I will let you eat that. If you won't eat how will recover then" I stated and made her eat the tablets.

"My princess might be very tired today" Ammi held both of my hands.
"No ammi not at all, there is nothing to be tired of" I replied.
"Where is Aaliyah" Ammi questioned.
"Actually she was having some work in the office so she left just now" I answered.

Then I heard the telephone in the hall ringing, I picked it up and greeted.
"Assalaamu Alaikum".
I heard a familiar feminine voice from the other side but I didn't recognized who she was.
"How is your mother's health? Is she fine now?" The caller queried.
"Ya, aunty she is fine Alhumdulilah. Sorry aunty I didn't recognized you" I said in a worried tone.
"I am your mother's friend beta, we met in a function some months ago. Did you remember?" Aunty tried to recall me.
"Sorry aunty" I apologized.
"It's totally fine beta" she replied.
"We all friends decided to come and meet your mother today in the evening" she confronted.
"Ya, sure why not" I smiled.

I then gave apple juice to ammi and informed her about her friends visit.
Ammi was happy after listening that.

I then started thinking what I should make in the dinner.
I am very bad at choosing what to cook and I basically waste time in thinking what to cook.
What to cook is more difficult than how to cook for me.

Then finally I came to a decision to make chicken biryani and Lab-e-shireen( It is an arabian desert enriched with fruits and loaded with heavy cream and custard with dry fuits and stawberry crush topping) and lassi with vanilla icecream, cherries on the top and roohafza sprinkled on it.

But to my surprise, chicken was not available at the moment. But luckily Awez was at home, so I called him.
"Please, bring a kg of chicken from 'Magestic chicken centre', and also bring pineapple, strawberry and kiwi" I ordered.
"Ok aapi" he nodded.
The thing that I like about Awez is that he never says no for any kind of work I order him to do.
We are more like friends than brother and sister, the kind of relationship that we share is something beyond beautiful. We doesn't get much time to spend with each other as he lives in hostel and whenever he comes to visit home, I am busy in my college work. But whatever time we get to spend with each other we always try to make it memorable.

As I have to do many things, I started doing the things that can be completed in less time.
I first started chopping off the fruits and dry fruits for Lab-e-shireen.
I then cutted off the cherries in small and thin slices to garnish on lassi.
By that time Awez came and handed over the chicken and fruits. After that I chopped off the rest of the fruits. I whisked the cream and made it smooth. Then I prepared the custard and mixed them all together in a bowl and kept in the refrigerator to chill.

Aaliyah aapi came by that time and she helped me in making biryani as I am not that much perfect in making biryani. If she hasn't come then my one and only solution everytime for every problem is 'Youtube'. From kneading dough to making cappuccino I learnt from Youtube which is my best tutor.

When I was busy in the kitchen, door bell rang and I went to open the door. Aunties were at the door, I greeted and welcomed them. I took them to ammi's room where ammi was resting then I made my way to the kitchen.

I was only left with lassi and the cleaning thing.
I finished making lassi and kept it in the freezer to chill. While I was cleaning, I heard a sweet voice from behind, "Di can I help you?".
I turned and saw Umaima daughter of Humairah aunty. She is around 7 years old I guess.
I smiled at that sweet gesture.
"I have completed my work cutie, you go and play with bhaiyya their" I said and showed her the way to awez's room.

After cleaning up all the things, I started pouring lassi in the glasses and loaded it with vanilla icecream, garnished with cherries and sprinkled roohafza on it and made my way towards ammi's room.

When I was about to enter the room, I heard Humairah aunty talking about my marriage. I stopped for a while and then went inside, after seeing me they stopped that discussion.
I served them with lassi and went in the kitchen.

By listening the word 'Marriage', I get goosebumps. I told ammi many times not to talk about my marriage but still at some or the other point this is the hot topic for them to discuss on.

I then offered Isha salah and went downstairs to arrange the dining table. Then I called everyone for the dinner.
Everyone loved the biryani and Lab-e-shireen and praised me. Ammi was happy after meeting her friends. I have seen that constant smile on her face while she was with her friends.
I then went for a walk on the tettace after the dinner. The beauty of bright moon and sparkling stars with cool breeze at night is just fascinating.

Humairah aunty and others left. I gave the tablets to ammi and went to sleep at the end of the hectic and tiring day.

Assalaamu Alaikum everyone.
