Makayla wipped her head around in shock. Oswald smiled and laughed," I'm sorry you had to see that...the darn duck has changed so much. I remember when we were kids I was in the park with him, teaching him to walk...", he trailed off. I knew why. I had been told this story before. That was the day he had met ortensia. He sighed and to my surprise, before I could comfort him makayla hugged him. I blushed. 'How cute!', I thought. Ozzy pulled away from the hug and smiled at our guest. Then he left and went to our bedroom, probably to change or take a shower. I felt Makayla lightly lean on me. I smiled.
Later as we were sitting down in the living room eating lunch,which wasn't really anything special. Bendy and cuphead helped me make sandwiches and some pudding. But that was all.
"Um...Mister Felix,Mister Oswald?", makayla started after swallowing a bite of her sandwich." Yes", Ozzy and I both spoke in synch. Makayla took a shaky Inhale before she spoke," is it alright if I go out for a while? I-I need to see someone". I looked at Ozzy. He shrugged. I looked back at Makayla and asked," who is it you need to see?"."My girl-...um I mean someone really important",she said."I see. Well if its ok with Ozzy I have no problem in you seeing one of your friends", I nodded to Ozzy who nodded back. Makayla looked happy." Thank you so much!", she said happily as she quickly threw her empty paper plate in the trash and hugged us both. I gave into the hug but Ozzy seemed a little more hesitant. Almost like he was shocked at the embrace. A few moments later after saying when she would be back Makayla left.
