Part 12

Nome woke up.
He padded sluggishly towards the bathroom.
Brushing his matted fur, he yawned.
He washed his face, then all of a sudden he was back to his hyper, crazy self.

Aki was just really bored.
Doing work stuff
Paying bills
Until she heard the doorbell ring.
She padded towards the door
Looked into the peep-hole
And saw Nome.
She jumped.
"In a minute!"
She rushed into her room.
Raveling the bandages back onto her arms.
Then she padded back to the door
And opened it.
"Hi Nome!"
"Hi Aki! Why are you so happy?"
"I'm trying to be more happy for once. I'm trying to push my depression aside."
Nome hugged Aki.
Aki blushed slightly.
"So what brings you here Nome?"
"I just wanted to see if you're okay after our... Date."
"I'm completely fine!"
"Well I'd love to chat but I gotta continue my work. Bye Nome!"
"Bye Aki!"
Aki closes the door while sighing.
She locks it and then pads back to her room.
It's a lazy day today.
