Another Day

It was just another day for Maya Penelope Hunter, She started her morning off with a nice shower and getting ready for school

Maya looked at the time and realized that she had to go pick riley up in 30 minutes , she ran out her room to go to the kitchen and grab an apple but then she saw her mom Katy and Shawn at the kitchen table

Shawn was her stepdad who adopted Maya , they have been very fond of each other and always will be ....

"Morning Babygirl , You should get some breakfast " Katy her mom said

"Morning Kiddo, Your mom is right "Shawn said making Maya laugh

" I know da..... Shawn " Maya said but was a bit embarrassed on her slip up

" kiddo you know you can call me dad right I'm not going anywhere, you are my daughter and I love you so much " Shawn says

In that moment Maya is almost in tears and runs into his arms trapping themselves in each others embrace .

Katy thought this would be a memorable moment so she took a photo with Shawns camera

After the two had released each other from there embrace Maya grabbed her apple and ran out the door yelling " See Ya later " to he lovely parents and made her way to the subway head over to riley house .

She made it to the Matthews residents and climbed up the fire escape and saw the " LIttle Ray Of Sunshine " brushing her hair and singing

Riley turned around and said " oh Hey Maya "

Maya was going to reply but got cut off by Topanga

"GIRLS TIME FOR BREAKFAST "Topanga yelled

That was the start of the day
