As Maya later the hospital bed surrounded by her friends she felt better
"Can Me and Lucas talk to Maya alone" Farkle asked
Everyone looked at Farkle and simply nodded giving Farkle , Lucas , And Maya the room

"Maya , you can stop hiding Now" Farkle Said
Maya's eyebrows Rose in confusion , she didn't know what Farkle was referring to , she wasn't hiding at all
Farkle noticed the Confusion and slowly moved his hand to the blanket covering Maya's Arms , Maya attempted to Stop him but she wasn't quick enough

Lucas who sat at the edge of the bed quickly stood up with wide eyes , He didn't know what to say . "Maya ... How long "

Maya turned her face so she was staring at her floor , She couldn't handle the Pity Nor the disappointment that she would see in Both of her friends eyes
"3 Years" was her answer
"Why" Lucas asked
'Why' was the same question asked herself when It had happened to her
'Why' was the same question Maya asked herself when she was sitting in her bedroom corner crying her eyes out from the Adjustment disorder she had suffered from
'Why' was the same question Maya asked when she found her self Hurting herself over and over again
'Why' was the same question Maya asked when she looked at her self everyday to see nothing special , Just worthless a trash
Maya's Depression consumed her for a majority of her life but it hit the worst when she we Almost Raped
Maya didn't tell her friends , She didn't even tell her parents
Maya didn't know what would happen if she didn't fight back , no one helped her , no one was there to help her
She was the broken girl with no hope
She had the Armor to protect her but it came crumbling down , But she managed to fake a smile everyday , To fake being tough
Maya got used to hiding the scars she got used to the heat and the pain when the blade would reach her skin
Maya was Broken on the inside , She made sure no one found out ... Until recently that is
Cory Matthews found out first , he saw the scars
Maya was sleeping in Detention , She wore a short sleeve shirt and a sweater over it but the heat got to her , she ended up taking the sweater off and falling asleep , Cory saw her Scars when he went over to her to wake her up , He pretended not to see anything f but Maya Knew that he saw , She knew she fucked up
That day Maya ran home and cried
herself to sleep .
Maya became more quiet but no one seemed to notice .
So here Maya was being asked
'Why'
Lucas and Farkle stayed patient awaiting an answer
But all they got in return was a crying Maya
Maya broke down into tears , she was ashamed of herself , she didn't want them to find out , she didn't want them to know that there best friend was a disappointment
Farkle was the first to hug Maya , He kissed her forehead and whispered in her ear soothing words
Maya cried and cried till she couldn't cry anymore she simple passed out
Farkle and Lucas's question would remain Unanswered .
The two boys left the room to allow Maya to sleep more .
Deep down They knew they had to help there friend
