'Close your eyes. Good now imagine a flame in your hand, how it looks how it feels to you and everyone else. Open your eyes once you can sense the flame in your hand.' Pearl whispers. I wait until I see a picture of a burning flame. It doesn't feel harmful, more like protective, healing. I see the burning red and orange color dancing, leaning from left to right.

I open my eyes to see the flame that I pictured the palm of my hand, swaying to the beat of my heart. Pearl looks up at me, her brilliant blue eyes full of joy.

'Close your eyes again, and imagine the flame hitting a tree. How does it feel leaving your hand, what damage does it do to the tree. Open your eyes once you have seen it happen.' Pearl says in my mind.

I close my eyes and look at the flame again, than I look at the tree. I watch as the flame leaves my hand, leaving a cool breeze as it hurls itself at the tree. Once it hits the tree, the tree erupts into flames. Creating the same protective feeling again. When I open my eyes I see the tree in flames, the once calm flame now a bonfire. The embers falling to the ground around us.

A sense of panic washes over me, draining any color from my face. I look at Pearl as she comes closer, laying down on the forest floor in front of me. She places one of her white paws on my leg, and I start calming down. The feeling of the rough pads on her paw, soothing me as she speaks.

'Now lets focus on water. Close your eyes. Now picture what the water looks like. What shape is it in, what do you feel looking at it. Once you sense the water open your eyes.' She says.

I do as I am told. I close my eyes, greeted by the darkness again. I look at the water now in front of me. It is in an orb shape, glistening in the light of the fire. The blues and greens come together, circling around each other. A sense of calm washes over me as I stare at the orb in my hand. I open my eyes to see the orb of water in my palm.

'Now close your eyes again. Watch as you the water leaves your hand. What does it feel like leaving? What does it do to the tree?' Pearl says in my head.

I watch as the water leaves my hand and it hurls itself at the tree. My hand feels cold when the water leaves it. I watch as it hits the tree. The flame sizzles as the water makes contact with it. The flame goes out and all that is left of the tree is its ashes.

I open my eyes to see the same scene before me. The ashes and the smoke are all that remains of the tree and the flame. Pearl looks at me approvingly. She gets up on all fours, and moves closer to me.

'Lets work on the last two elements, than we will get you to bed.' Pearl says, I nod in response.

'Close your eyes and imagine what wind looks like. What does it feel like in your hand.'

I close my eyes, and look at the wind. It flies around in the palm of my hand, as if it was chasing its tail. I giggle at the sight. The sense of freedom comes over me, like there is nothing that I need to worry about.

I open my eyes to see the wind in my hand. It continues to spin around in my hand. The cooling feeling of the air on my hand makes me laugh. Pearl looks up at me, with her piercing blue eyes and gives a little smile.

'Close your eyes again and picture the air hitting the tree. What does it feel like leaving your hand? What does it do to the tree?' Pearl says.

I close my eyes and look at the wind in my hand, than looking at the ash where the tree was. I focus on sending the wind to the ashes. It leaves my hand, leaving with a cool breeze behind. It hurls itself at the ashes, blowing my long white hair out of the way. The ashes fly everywhere, littering the forest.

I open my eyes to see the ashes littering the forest floor.

'Close your eyes and look where the tree was. What do you want it to look like? Once you see it watch it grow.' Pearl says.

I close my eyes and picture the tree. I see a 2 story tree, with beautiful colors. The trunk looks like its twisted together, only to spread out in many layers of branches and leaves. The leaves form a canopy, barely touching the forest floor. The moon shines through the leaves, making the tree glow. It grows fast, almost as if years were passing by in a minute. I open my eyes to see the tree.

I immediately stand up and climb the tree, with Pearl close behind. I stare up the tree in awe, when I hear a twig snap. I jump and use my tiger eyes to look for the source of the sound. Pearl jumps down and motions for me to follow her.

'Form a flame in your hand to give us light.' Pearl says, and I obey.

"Who's there?" I say, holding the flame out in front in me.

"I am hear to bring you back to the castle, princess Venus."My uncle, Jake, says. Jake isn't my uncle, he is just my fathers very good friend, and my body guard.

"Yes, Uncle Jake." I respond, as I distinguish the flame in my hand.

He helps me onto Pearls back, patting her white and black striped head. We start our long walk back to the castle.
