Avery Littleton was never one to dwell on anything. He never overthought things, he never had something on his mind for longer than a matter of minutes, and he never questioned a moment for weeks. But this is what he found himself doing. Avery Littleton, impulsive bitch, was sitting on the floor of his room, thinking about a kind girl that had help the door open for him and given him a shirt to use while his was drenched in coffee.
"You okay there mate?"
Evander Nelson, star of the high school football team, well known ladies man, and Avery's best friend of all time had walked in to find his friend sprawled on the floor like some kind of sick monkey.
"Hmm?" Avery realized someone was actually talking to him and sat up in an upright position, "Oh yeah I'm good, just thinking, that's all"
"Avery, thinking? Pfft, where is the real Avery?"
"Fuck off mate"
Evander had handed him a cup of coffee, from the same shop he had met the girl he has just previously been thinking about.
"So who's the girl?"
Avery had turned to his best friend with wide eyes, and decided there were three things he could do: Lie, tell the truth, or play dumb.
Avery sighed and decided the latter was probably the best idea with Evander.
"Erm,
What do you mean?"
Avery mentally face palmed.
He was just greatful that Evander only laughed and responded with a witty
"Come on man, you don't think. The only other time I've seen you think this much was when you discovered there was a thing called a triple burrito"
Avery sighed as Evander joined him on the floor and patted him on the back, silently encouraging him to speak about the girl on his mind.
