I got a text message from my bestfriend hayes saying to meet him in the park at 1 o'clock. Me and hayes are honesty just friends. I liked it that way. He was like a brother to me. I got my phone and headed out the door. I walked down the pathway and saw the playground. I saw hayes in the distance and walked towards him. He was standing against the stands of the swing on his phone. "hey" i shouted. His head shot up. "hey" he responded, i laughed a little the rest of the way. He smiled and so did. I spread my arms out and hugged him tightly. we pulled back from the hug "so what did you call me here for or text me here for"

he looked at the ground "umm heellooooo, earth to hayes?" i said waving my hand in his face. he shot back up and said "uhhhh" "are you ok?" i asked "yeah um.... shall we?" he asked pointing to the swing. I nodded slightly, i sat down on one and so did he. "ok soo what did you need?" i asked and scrunched my eyebrows together "well, this is really awkward if you dont feel the same way but i really want to become closer like our relationship" i was confused "hayes, we're ike brother and sister, how much more closer do you want to get?" i said in confusion "no like, why dont we like... um ..... youre really pretty and i really like you and i know that you may think that we are like brother and sister but i want us to be-" "is this your way of askng me to be your girlfriend?" i asked, he looked down and back up. "well, yeah" he said scratching his head. 

Oh jeez. 

"hayes, im 13 your 14 its just, i like you too but we're too young" "no no yeah i understand" he said. I feel so bad. i leaned toward him and kissed him on the cheek. He looked up at me and i saw him blush. "maybe later on in life we can be together, like when were 15 or something, yeah?" i said. "sure" he smiled. 

I stood up and held out my hands. "how about we just walk together for now" he stood up and we held hands and walked around the park. This was nice. 

***  10 years later. *** 

"i do" i said. "you may now kiss the bride" and with that i new we would be together for a long time. 8 years ago Hayes asked me to be his girlfriend after 10 years ago i denied him. I looked at his ocean blue eyes and he looked in mine. I felt his lips on mine. I loved hayes. so much. I heard the cowd cheer for me and hayes. It was amazing. I am married to Hayes Grier.
