* deep breathes * "hey dont worry you'll so great" shawn said, patting my back making a fraction of my nevres go away. i looked at him and gave him a smile. i was here in Canada, performing infront of Shawns crowd for his tour as his opening act. I thought i could handle it and i was wrong. but i was excited. i had writen 3 songs and was working on my 4th so that ii didnt just have to do covers of songs. I was a sing/songwriter and it was fun. back when i was in grade 8 i would always write some song lyrics that i thought were good. I used to do talent quests and even then i would get nervous. But this time every thing was drained out of me. "thanks" i whispered slightly to shawn. He gave me a smiled and walked off.
"it time. youll be fine" one of the staff people said. The pushed me slightly to the stage and i went up the stairs. It time. Its time its time. i can do this. I saw the crowd with flashing lights going off and soon i heard screaming. I got out onto the stage, just to get it over and done with. once i sat down i just started my first song. I couldnt hear anything from the crowd. No 'booos" and "get off the stage" nothing. I looked around and saw to my right shawn standing there with his gutair in his hands. He walked towards me singing as i did. like a duet. we were both singing "say something" by a great big world and christina agulra (idk and idc how to spelll her name). It sounded so nice.
