Elliot's POV

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

"What the hell?" Fin kicks a mop over. "Where the hell did she go?" I look up at the ceiling and around the walls.

"There's not even a vent she could go through to escape," I say and lean against a shelf. I kick a broom with my foot and a blue glow filled the room. I jump back and both Fin and I slam back against the door. "What the hell is that?" I practically yell and Fin shakes his head.

"Idon'tknow," he spits out, his words blending together. He stares at the wall across from us I look up at it. It's some type of puzzle in the shape of a square and it almost floated over the wall. "What is it?" I stare at the puzzle then something clicks.

"Wait, I've seen that before. It looks like a jumbled up Decarthios sign. You know, the one of the most powerful superhero in the world?" I stepped forward and touched a tile. It floated up and I moved it around. I put the pieces together easily to create the Decarthios sign. A green ENTER button popped up and Fin moved to stand next to me.

"Should we press it?" he asks and I hold my hand up.

"Hell yeah," I say and slam my palm down on the enter. There's a hissing noise and then the wall splits in two. I jump back a little and then look ahead. There's doctors everywhere and it looks like a hospital ten times better than the one we were just in. "What...the heck?" I say and we walk into the hospital.

There's people in superhero costumes laying on gurneys around the room and there are all these different and weird machines around.

"Dude, there's Frostbite," Fin said, pointing to our left and I looked over to see the real Frostbite creating a snowball in mid air. She lifted her hand up and threw it in our direction. Fin and I jumped back right before it hit us but it hit another doctor. The doctor froze mid-step and Frostbite winced. She held her hands in the air palms up and sucked the frost back from him. It flowed through the air then back into her palms. "Oh. My. Gosh. It's the real Frostbite!" I just stood frozen.

"Wait, if Spark came in here then that means she knows superheroes are real and is probably like friends with some of them. Why the heck wouldn't she tell us about this?" I look around then see a doctor standing by one of four desks in the center of the room. He looked slightly familiar.

"Wait--Mr. Bright?!" Fin basically squeaked and the doctor's head snapped up. That's who it was!

"Mr. Bright...Spark's dad?" We walk up to the desk and he stares at us with wide eyes filled with shock.

"What are you boys doing here?" he demands and we both open our mouths to speak but nothing comes out. Mr. Bright opened his mouth to say something but then alarms started going off and doors flew open. Our heads whipped to the side and I saw Spark running next to a gurney with two other doctors as they pushed it into a spot that I guess is reserved for gurneys.

"Blue Fire just got back from Malmarm where he was attacked by Magneto. He's unresponsive and we're loosing him! He's flat-lining!" Spark yelled and more doctors surrounded him. One doctor grabbed round balls that glowed and I assumed they were supposed to be like the defibrillators for humans. The doctor started shocking his chest but Spark jumped around a few doctors to reach the one with the paddle things. "You're doing it in the wrong place. Malmarm's gravity is like fifty times that of Earth so his heart has probably been pulled from his chest to his feet! Move!" She grabbed the paddles and the doctors jumped back as she moved to stand by Blue Fire's feet. "Take his shoes off, please!" Two doctors reached out and tore off his boots. "Charge to two hundred..." The machine beeped. "Step away! Clear!" She pushed the paddles onto the soles of Blue Fire's feet and shocked him. He shot up and the flat line started beeping normally again.

"He's saved," a doctor announced and they clapped for a few seconds before going back to taking care of Blue Fire.

"Thank you very much," Spark said with a bow. "I'm gonna need his forms in my office, stat, and get his vitals down before administering any medications." She picked up a file from the end of the bed and started flipping through it as she spun on her heels and walked towards us. I waited for her to recognize us but she just walked towards us like she couldn't even see us. Fin moved to the side so he was in her way and when she bumped into him she just muttered "Sorry."

Spark puts the file down on the desk as she looks at her dad.

"So, where's my next patient?" she asks and her dad clears his throat nervously.

"Um, sweetie, I don't think you should worry about patients. You should probably worry about them." He points at us and she spins around slowly. When she finally looks at us she up and back so she's now sitting on the desk and the papers she was reading before.

"You!" she yells pointing at us. "Why--? How--? You!" she stutters and looks around wildly. "How the hell are you here? Why the hell are you here? You need to go before they cube you and turn you into a paperweight!" She was rambling in that cute way of hers and I laugh but then realize what she said in her last sentence.

"What do you mean 'cube us'?" I ask and she jumps down from the counter. She puts her hands on our shoulders and easily pushes us forwards.

"You will leave, you will forget about this place, and you will forget about everything and anything you saw here today. Got it?" Spark moves to the side and punches in a number on the keypad and the doors slid open to reveal the janitor's closet again. Fin pushes her away and we both step around her to face the hospital again.

"Nope, we do not got it," Fin says, jumping onto a clear spot on the desk. "In fact, we would like some answers."

"No! You need to leave before--" But she was cut off.

"Sparky! You're here!" a man yelled. I looked over Spark's shoulder to see a middle-aged looking Hispanic man walking towards us. Spark hung her low in defeat as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Who are your friends and what can they do?" he asks and she takes a deep breath before looking at us.

"That," she finishes and looks over her shoulder at the man. "Hey, Uncle Marion," she says weakly then shoots us glares of death.
