Nick paced back and forth in his room with the words Marry Me running through his head over and over. He never loved anyone like he loved Matthew and he knew that he wouldn't love anyone else more. He threw his fingers threw his hair and sat down on his bed. He reached in the top drawer of his dresser and pulled out a small velvet box. "I have to do it, I have to say yes or I will regret it my entire life," Nick shouted as he quickly grabbed his coat and ran out the door. He managed to get to Matthew in half the time it usually took and before he knew it he was standing at Matthew's door. Nick knocked and the door opened. Nick just ran in jumping on top of Matthew showering him with kisses. Matthew pushed him off and they were sitting on the floor. "Why did you run off?" Matthew asked.
"I was scared," Nick replied.
"Of what?"
"You saying no," Nick said pulling the small box out of his pocket placing it on the floor in front of Matthew.
"Really?" Matthew asked.
"Really," Nick answered. Matthew placed the small box he was holding on the floor in front of Nick. "So it wasn't a pity proposal, worried that you might lose me," Nick said.
"Of course not," Matthew replied.
"Then yes."
"What?"
"Yes, I will Marry you," Nick said. Matthew slid closer to Nick cuddling him in tight afraid to let go. "No more fighting."
"No more fighting," Matthew replied. they exchanged rings and just laid there together on the floor. "I love you," Nick said.
"I love you Forever-ever." Matthew answered. The time went by and they didn't care how long they laid there for they were just happy to be in each other's lives. They were just happy that they could be there in that moment and cherish it for the rest of time.
