the next day
Kali's eyes open up as she awakes from her sleep. She shuts off her loud alarm clock. Kali slips from under her covers and gets ready for school after an hour she was ready she heard honking from outside and then knocking. Dominic. Kali's heart skipped a beat and she then quickly walked to the door an opened the door. She saw two blue eyes staring at her she jumped up and hugged Dominic.
"Happy today are we," Dominic said while handing Kali roses, a bag labeled Chanel and a bag with a breakfast burrito. Kali took the presents.
"Aw thank you your to good to me."Kali smiles.
Kali kisses Dominic before setting the roses and Chanel bag on a table and grabbing her keys to leave. Her and Dominic walk to Dominic's car and he opens the door for Kali and Kali sat down. Dominic then enters the car and sits down. The car starts up and Dominic drives to school. Once they get there everyone is staring at them, they both get out of the car. Dominic holds Kali's hand and kisses her gently. People gasp, they both enter school, receiving, even more, stares from people.
"Well then,"Kali says after seeing some girls glaring at her. Dominic laughs
"Well look who it is. The most popular and new couple of this shitty high school." Adrian, Dominic's best friend walks up to the couple.
"Aww thank you I think that is the only compliment I will get about this relationship from anyone in this school," Kali tells Adrian as Dominic leans toward him pulling him into a bro hug. They hear the bell ring.
"Well, time to go to hell," Kali says as she kisses Dominic and she waves goodbye to Adrian before walking to Biology.
"So how did that happen?" Adrian asks Dominic.
"I don't know, to be honest, I just saw her walking down the street and I instantly thought 'i need to get to know her, to have her'"
"Damn bro you're hooked," Adrian says.
"Shut up bro. Look I know you think it's bad for our kind to be with humans, but when I'm near her I feel a strong attraction. And before you say anything it's not the blood its something else, I know it."
"Whatever bro as long if you're happy I'm happy but just try not to get Kali killed for all we know she's innocent..... I guess."
"What's that supposed to mean," Dominic asks.
" Dude have you looked inside her mind it's just.....black. Like nothingness, if that's a word." Adrian responds.
"Well I haven't looked into her mind but I have yet to, and stop looking into her mind creep. She's mine, not yours." Dominic says.
"Ok ok. Chill Dom. Let's just go to class." Adrian says to Dom as they walk down the hallway as a few people run past them to get to class.

a/n I know these chapters are really short and even though Dominic is a vampire I dont give enough action that tells he is a vampire but he is and I am going to put in more action so that the story is more interesting anyway I am planning a new story because I feel like my writing can be better and I want it to be better for readers it will be called War of Hearts and I am still figuring out how I want everything so I won't publish it for a while.that's it and thank you for reading.
