"Hey, Barry, I'm home!" the sweet voice of his boyfriend was heard from the kitchen, the front door slamming close and a shivering Stiles entered. Piece by piece, Stiles took off his gloves, his hat, followed by his winter coat then lastly his scarf. It was below freezing outside considering it was the middle of winter and even though Stiles loved the season, it was way too cold for him.

"Hey, Stiles, how was job searching?" Barry questioned, jogging to the dining room to pull out a chair for his boyfriend so he could sit down and enjoy dinner. The hazel eyed boy stopped in front of him, taking his hands and putting them on his cheeks.

Barry felt a shiver go down his spine, "Your hands are freezing, Stiles."

Stiles chuckled, bringing his lips to Barry's. For a moment, their lips moved in sync and butterflies erupted in both of their stomachs. It's been a couple years since they've been together and they're still completely and undeniably in love with each other. The sound of Stiles' stomach growling made Barry laugh and he slowly pulled away, "I think you're hungry. Let me go get you your dinner."

"Okay," Stiles took a seat in the dark brown chair, getting situated to be more comfortable. "thank you, Barry."

Going back into the kitchen, Barry grasped onto the China plates that held their favorite kind of sushi and headed back into the dining room. The hazel eyed boy glanced up from the table and grinned, sushi being a favorite food of his. The hero set down the plate in front of his boyfriend, loving the sparkle that shone in his eyes. His hazel eyes were Barry's favorite thing to look at, they were such a magnificent color and they were beautiful to him.

"I love your eyes." Stiles looked at him, startled but he quickly covered it up with a big smile and thanked him with a kiss on the cheek. "Let me go get the wine."

Back with the wine in a flash, Barry took his seat next to Stiles and opened up the bottle, pouring the red liquid into their glasses. They ate in silence, savoring the taste of the delicious sushi and drank their wine, pouring more when needed.

"So, Barry," Stiles cleared his throat. "what's the special occasion? We don't usually have sushi and wine unless something good happened."

Barry chuckled, setting the two chopsticks down and pushing his chair back. "Well since you asked..." he trailed off. His hand dug into his pocket, gripping onto the black box that laid in his pocket. He got out of his seat, bending down and getting on to one knee. Stiles looked at him, surprised and startled at this sudden proposal but proposals were supposed to be surprising.

"Stiles Stilinski, we have been through hell and back. Your dad had been kidnapped and then brought back by a psychopath who we have finally defeated. We've been best friends for years and now you are not only my best friend, you are also the love of my life. It took me so long to figure out how much I loved you and I'm glad I figured it out otherwise we won't be here today.

"I remember when I confessed to you that I loved you just before you were about to sacrifice yourself. You were so shocked and your eyes that were once so dull, so sad had instantly lit up and you were happier than you were. I saved you but you also ended up saving us. You locked him away for good and you saved all of us. We defeated the nogitsune and now, we're free.

"I wish your mom could've been here, to see how much you've been through and to see how you beat the depression, how you beat the dark spirit and Olivers father. She would be so proud of you, Stiles Stilinski. You know how I know she would've give me her blessing? It's because she knew you loved me and that I loved you and she knew we'd one day be together for the rest of our lives. She loved you so much and I love you almost as much as she loved you. Nobody can be the love of a parent or the person who raised you. Stiles Stilinski, will you do me the honor of being husband?"

Tears slipped from his hazel eyes, a faded smile playing on his lips and he stuck his hand out, "Of course, Barry. Yes! Yes! Yes!"

It was happening, Stiles had said yes and soon, they'd be married. Barry was the happiest man alive, he was going to marry his true love. He had been telling his friends and family that he was going to pop the question and they were all sure he was going to say yes and they helped plan everything out. Slowly, Barry took the ring and slid it onto Stiles' ring finger, the ring fitting nicely on the finger. A tear dropped from his eye and he looked up at his fiancé, taking his hands to put them on Stiles' face and kissed him passionately. Their lips moved in sync, neither wanting to pull away and savored the taste of the others lips. Without the other, it was like the hero without its sidekick.

Ding dong

The doorbell went off, interrupting the two from getting any more intimate and Barry groaned.

"Crap, I forgot. I invited everyone over because I was so sure you'd say yes which obviously you did so here's our engagement party." Stiles pecked Barry on the lips, laughing and stood from his chair. He left Barry in the dining room, crossing over to the front door and opened it finding all their friends and family waiting with food, wine, presents and love.

"Hey! Congratulations!" Cisco shouted, a huge grin spread across his face. Emma had her hand wrapped around her giant, pregnant belly which was pushing through her winter coat. Caitlin was with her new boyfriend, a man who knew about it all and loved the red head with all his heart. Iris and Joe West held a few containers in their hands with smiles on their faces too. Everyone was finally happy, no sadness, no fear, just happiness.

Barry appeared behind Stiles, taking his left hand and throwing it up in the air and screaming, "HE SAID YES!" as loud as he could and everyone cheered.

But then it all began to fade away. Stiles faded, Emma faded, everyone faded away and then at last, Barry opened his eyes back to reality where everyone was waiting for him to wake.
