Author's POV

Noah stood in the nursery of the Prince house, humming quietly while gently rocking the baby in his arms as she sniffled. He glanced at the clock, sighing at the early time. "Coffee?" Liam leaned against the doorway, carrying a small cup of coffee in one hand, and their two-year-old son, Hunter, in his other. Hunter rested against his father's chest, glancing at his mother and sister wearily.

Shaking his head, Noah scowled. "No. And what is Hunter doing up? He should be in bed."

"Yes, well... He woke up." Liam didn't want to explain to his wife that he and Hunter had never actually gone to sleep, and had stayed up all night playing games and watching movies.

Noah gave him a look, sighing tiredly before returning his attention to the half-conscious baby girl in his arms. He readjusted the blanket wrapped around himself and the baby before sitting down in the rocking chair, closing his eyes sleepily. Liam smiled at his wife and daughter happily. Before, he wasn't even sure he'd get to have his son. Now, here he was, standing with his whole family. A loving wife, and two children.

Hunter mewled, his dark hair falling into his bright violet eyes. They were his most unique feature, inherited from his grandfather, Liam's dad. Liam moved out of the room, taking his son back to his room before returning to the nursery to find that Noah had fallen asleep in the rocking chair, the baby in his arms.

Smiling, Liam lifted the small girl from Noah's arms, giving her a small kiss on the forehead before putting her in her crib, tucked under the blanket carefully. Then, he turned to Noah, lifting the small male into his arms. Liam always marveled at Noah's small height and weight after pregnancy. Noah's stomach was flat, and he seemed smaller than he was before he had the baby. He needs to eat more, Liam thought. He's not used to eating for one, so I need to help him.

Setting Noah in their bed, Liam brushed his hair away from his face and kissed his wife. He stood up and was about to leave when Noah grabbed his hand. "-n't go..." He muttered sleepily, one eye peeking out while the other was closed shut. Liam came over, lying down next to Noah and holding him close. Noah gave a content sigh, turning over to snuggle into Liam's chest.

Liam pulled Noah closer, kissing the top of his head as they lay there quietly. He listened to Noah's soft snores while he stared at the wall, happily content. He was about to fall asleep when the phone rang. Sitting up quickly, he grabbed the phone before it had a chance to wake either of the kids, or Noah. "... Hello?" he whispered, indicating to the caller that they needed to be quiet.

"Hello!" His mother's cheery voice greeted him, oblivious to the quiet tone he wanted her to take.

Sighing, Liam scowled. "What is it?"

"Just hoping to see if you had any room in your house this weekend. Wanted to see the new darling, Aida."

His smile as back. Aida Rose Prince had been born about four months ago, completing their happy family. "Yeah, it's okay if you come over. I'll tell Noah."

"Just don't upset him!"

Liam looked at his wife and sighed happily. "No... Never again."
