"Good morning Autumn!" said Manager April as I entered the cafe I work at located in Beverly Hills.

"Good morning April." I said with a smile as I walked in. I walked behind the counter and grabbed my apron before putting it on. It's a Monday morning at the beginning of October.

"Hey, would you mind cleaning the tables out there?" asked April as she pointed at the tables outside.

"I don't mind."

April went to flip the Open sign as I cleaned the tables that were placed outside. Only about six people work here. It's just a small local coffee shop.. nothing too special. The same people come in about every day and get the same thing every time. In this big city... we are just a small local coffee shop.

I finished cleaning the last table. As I turned around, I saw a couple people sitting at tables. I greeted them all since I know literately everyone who walks in. I am a barista so I learn people's names, their favorite drinks and the days when they come in.

"Autumn could you help me with this?" asked one of my workers named Lucy. She needed help finishing a drink.

"Autumn, there are two boys in line." said Lucy as I finished topping the drink with whipped cream. I turned around to see two tall attractive boys who look about my age, patiently waiting in line.

"I am sorry for the wait... What can I get you?"

One of the boys, shorter than the other ordered a pumpkin spice latte while the taller one ordered a black coffee.

"I've never seen you guys here... local?" I asked

"We actually just moved here... we thought your coffee shop was worth a try." said the one who I personally thought was very attractive... the shorter one.

"That's cool... hope to see you guys more often." I added with a smile. They nodded in agreement.

"Names?" I asked as I held a cup in one hand and a sharpie in the other.

"Jonah."

"Daniel."

Daniel... that's his name.

"Since you guys are here for the first time... it's on the house." I said as I pushed the cash register back in.

"Wow, thanks... that's sweet of you." said Jonah

"Your welcome." I said as I gave them a quick smile before starting to the make their drinks. Before I started to make Daniel's drink... I added a quote to his cup. And only his cup.

"Lol, today you said hi to me and I died."

"Daniel and Jonah." I said as I walked over to the "Pick Up." corner. The two boys sat up from their seats and walked over.

"Here ya go." I said with a smile.

"Thank you again." Said, Daniel, as we made strong eye contact.

"Your welcome... come back any day." I added.

"What's your name?" asked Daniel,

"Oh, it's Autumn." I said as I moved my hair away from my gold name tag.

"That's a beautiful name." said Jonah

"Well, thanks." I could feel my cheeks starting to blush.

"Well, we will see you soon Autumn." Added Jonah with both of their adorable smiles.

I saw Daniel notice the words I wrote onto his cup. I admired the smiled that plastered on his face.

"Bye, have a great day."

"You too!"  yelled Daniel before they completely left.

"They're cute." said Lucy as she cleaned some things to the right of me.

"They're God's creations alright." I added as I started to clean up also with Daniel still resting in my mind. I loved the fact that they were coming back.

"I call the tall one."

"Fine with me." I said giving her the cheesiest smile. We just both laughed it out. Guess we have new locals.
