It's been a good solid two hours of my Tuesday, cleaning tables and making drinks... and still no Daniel. Every time I heard the bell ring by the door, I turn in hopes of the two boys... none.Hours passed and I just started to think they didn't like our drinks or if my quote on Daniel's cup scared them away.
"Where're the hotties?" Asked Lucy.
"I don't know."
All of sudden the bell rings and I checked to see who it was... well it's my big day."Why didn't you ask me that earlier?" I asked in a stupid tone before walking up to the register to take their orders.
"Good Afternoon Daniel and Jonah. What can I get you guys." I said with a smile. They smiled back along with their orders. This time they ordered six drinks in total.
"Party?" I asked as I wrote their names all on the six cups
"Nah, our friends just wanted some coffee after letting them try Daniel and I's drinks from yesterday which by the way was absolutely amazing." Mentioned Jonah as he pulled out his card.
He swiped the card and then the two boys walked and sat down at the same table they were at yesterday. I decided to write another quote onto Daniel's cup... yes, only Daniel's cup.
"You are the person I'll never stop looking for in a crowded place"
Is what I wrote with my black sharpie.
I called the boy's names up once I finished all the drinks for Daniel, Jonah, Corbyn, Jack, Zach, and David... Dang, there's a lot of them.
"Thanks, Autumn." Said, Daniel, as the two grabbed their drinks.
"Ya thanks." Said Jonah.
"You're welcome..." I said looking at them both. Daniel instantly knew to look for a quote... even after the first day. The same smile plastered on his face as he looked at me. I smiled back before the two walked out the door... these boys.I turned back around to see Lucy giving me a smirk.
"What?" I asked.
Lucy didn't say anything but continued to give me a grin.Almost a whole day has passed by
My life isn't always stuck in a Cafe. I started college almost two months ago and I live in a condo with three other friends.
"Autumn, go home. It's past your shift." Said April as she noticed me cleaning some tables.
"You sure? It's rush hour." I Said looking around the cafe filled with people... a lot of unfamiliar people.
"Yes, go home. You do too much for me." Mentioned April one last time to convince me. I just smiled and responded with an "Okay" before hanging up my apron and heading out the door. I hopped into my white Mercedes and drove not too far to my condo in Beverly Hills.I walked into an empty, dark condo thinking the three of them would be home. I looked around with only the light shining through the window that lit all the rooms up. I eventually turned on one light and walked down the hallway to my room. It's a good old Tuesday and here I am with more homework. Since I work a whole lot most days, I miss my classes and then have to get caught up at home after work. I lit my fall scented candle, pulled out my MacBook, placed some peaceful music on and then worked on my homework. Let's just say that homework didn't go by so quickly. I kept thinking about Daniel. I mean yea he's cute and I obviously have a crush on him but like... what am I doing?
