Chapter 22

Joes POV

She grabbed my hand, my hand and squeezed it had really hard. I felt like my heart skipped a beat, I she the one and only girl I want to be with? Or was it because I still feel really dizzy from that squeeze? Whatever it was I'm still deeply confused...

Rachel's POV

I was getting my ankle wrapped up by the women we met when we came in, she was nice, nicer than the doctor, she handed me pain relief pills and gave me crutches. Me and Joe walked out once we were outside we started to walk a little further up the street till we came to a dinner/ bar, we walked to the bar, he ordered a coke, and I ordered a Pepsi. Once our drinks came we sat there for a moment in a deep silence till he broke it...

"So, I'm guessing your not from around here?"

"Ya, how about you?"

"No way I'm just on vacation, for three months, till you guys leave basically."

"Oh, so your a pilot, right?"

"Ya, the youngest one and best out of my other employees, that's what the boss says at least"

"Wow, how old are you then?"

"19, you?"

"16, but gonna be 17 in a couple of days..."

"So why exactly are you guys here?"

"Grandparents got tickets for the whole family to come here, so far my twin sister Hailee has been drunk since we got here."

"Man, must be fun having a twin huh."

"Ya it has its positives and negitives, are you part of a twin?"

"Ya but I don't see him much anymore."

"What's his name?"

"John, he is really nice, I think he lives here so I'm gonna go check him out, although he said never come back to me unless your dying, have someone you love, married to, have kids you want me to see, or someone else died that I know, including aunts, uncles, cousins, old teachers ,mom ,dad, brothers, sisters."

"Wow he sounds nice to you."

"Ya he is really a fun guy once you get to know him."

"I bet."

"I have a question when you grabbed my hand before did you feel like a jolt of electricity shoot through you?"

"Ya..., why?"

"Because it got my thinking maybe you and me are meant to be,"

"Okay, are you trying to ask me out or something now?"

"Yes, tonight at 8:00"

"Sure, but first here's my number, and I need your help with something..."

"Sure whatever it is ill help."

"Great!"

Joes POV

She said yes she said yes, I was singing that song in my head, till we arrived at the hotel she was staying at,

"Hey your here, I'm in this hotel 2, man what floor are you on?"

" 2nd room 26, you"

"2nd floor room 25, so your the people who I had to yell at the other day."

" Ya well actually my sister Hailee she had like I said too much to drink..."

"I bet she was making a lot of noise."

"Ya she was she kept me up till 5:00 this morning."

"Wow so would you like to come into my room for a while and start that date?"

"Sure it's like 7:45 but why not, just let me tell Hailee first."

"Okay see you soon?"

"Ya, bye."

"Bye"

I walked into my room and grabbed my stuff of of the spare bed and shoved it into the closet, I then went to my bed and made it, (that's the perks of this hotel for me at least), I then grabbed my stuff off of the floor and shoved the stuff into the closet, I walked to the bathroom and cleaned up in there, put the new clean towels away also. I heard a knock on the door as I was putting a new top on, I looked through the peep hole and saw her, I opened the door, "Come in" I told her. She walked in.
