(Even if your birthday isn't around this time, let's just pretend it is okay? :) )
It was about 2 months into school, and Y/n's birthday was today. However, it was also a Saturday, and Y/n preferred to spend her time alone.
She sat afloat a raft in the backyard pool, in her f/c bikini, on her phone for what felt like ages. But she had no clue she was being watched....
Until she heard the creak of the gates to the fence, and whoever was there, quickly shut them when Y/n turned her head.
Y/n got out of the pool, and with no towel on, walked over and opened the gates, but no one was there. She looked further past the front yard, and saw a red head trying to make his distance.
"Hey!" Y/n shouted, and Seven turned his head. His face the same color as his hair, he waved awkwardly. "H-hey Y/n! Happy... Birthday? Heheh..."
Y/n approached him, her eyebrows furred together in anger. The closer she got, the redder Seven's face became. "Why. Are.
You. Here?!"He became momentarily speechless, due to her current state of clothing, but he quickly over came it... for the most part. "I... brought you a present!"
"...What?" Y/n turned her head. "A gift, for you, because it's your birthday, right?" Seven held out a small box that was wrapped rather neatly in a white and red ribbon. Y/n took the box out of his hands, and stared at it for a while, as if she expected it to blow up or something.
"Thanks but... why?" Seven and Y/n really hadn't talked after the incident with Hayden, and they assumed they hated one another. Although, that wasn't the case, for the most part.
"Well I... I like you... a lot. And, I never get a chance to properly talk to you at school because of the stuff that goes on between our friends. So, I decided to come here! And I really hope..." The two locked eyes for a short moment. "That we can be friends...?"
"That's awfully sweet of you, but you can't just beat up my brother and expect a little gift to fix it all up. I just... can't trust you. Y/n walked back to the gate, as Seven followed.
"Wait!" He shouted after her. "Y/n, I really do like you, and I'll do anything to prove it! My friends, they pressured me into doing all the horrible things I do to you guys. I'm just asking for one more shot." Seven pleaded with her, but she once again confused.
"How long will it take for you to drop the act?" Y/n questioned. "If you really did like me, then you'd realize what your friends are doing is wrong and stop them, whether you like it or not. Sure, it's probably not easy. But there's an easy way, and a right way to do it."
It fell silent for a few seconds, until Y/n sighed. "I'll... think about this more. And you should too." She closed the gate, separating them.
She teared apart the wrapping paper, and opened the box. It was a cute, heart shaped necklace with a big pink padparadscha sapphire in its shape.
Y/n clutched it tightly in her hand as she began to cry. Sad, because she pushed Seven away, but happy, because he really does care.
She put it around her neck, and glanced at her reflection in the colored gem stone. "Thank you, Seven..."
(Shorter than my usual parts, I know. I tried.)
