I am left a daze by my cousin. To announce the re-opening of his theatre to everyone here so bluntly, Aunt Victrina would definitely not approve of what he did. This action caused our family into pure humiliation.

Because of an incident that happened before, the place had to be shut down. Now, my dear cousin revealed his means to open his theatre once again, this time with a plan to prevent the past incident.

But, revealing it to the public wouldn't be much of a wise choice. Everyone would have their expectations set on high seeming as he is from a ducal household.

"Lord Earlhart?" A voice was heard outside my door. "I've brought a letter from—"

"Yes. Come in." I cut him off, I know exactly who that is. Being the person he is, I'd be the person he'll come to. Of course, I know the letter would be a request of assistance.

The door opened and in came a rather small man. He had long silver hair neatly tied at the back of his head. He wore black and white trousers, a long waist coat, a black tie with my family's mark at the top, and plain black shoes. I recognized him as my personl aide, Elias Lothair.

"Ah, another one of those?" I asked seeing the Liz marking on the letter. "Lord Earlhart, the address is written in red ink. This might be something more important than that." He said, paying more attention to the letter than of me.

Red ink. That's the second time he used that to send a letter to me quickly. The first time he used that was when he almost went into bankruptcy when his theatre failed. This matter might be of that very subject.

Elias handed me the letter and studied the lettering closely. This letter is really that of his writting. This cannot be good. I hesitated before setting the letter down. Elias looked at me skeptically, eyeing the letter.

"Lord Earlhart, A red letter... This shall not be good. Wouldn't it be wise to tend to this immediately?" Elias gave off a worried look.

He had a point, though I remembered a very important thing to know about my cousin and emergencies. It usually is about business, rarely family because his sisters don't reside in this country and his mother..... passed.

"Yes, I know. I'll get back to this later, I have work to do. With his theatre going smoothly, this shouldn't be much of something big."

I stood up and walked out my office. That work that I am supposed to do is actually my afternoon tea. I do not want to be bothered right now. I can worry about the letter later. I know this sounds really selfish of me but, I've had to deal with his sh*t most of the time and I want to take a break. We entered a small, cozy room. It had a long sofa, two chairs opposing each other, two small bookshelves filled with novels that I have collected and a fireplace. Ah, I love this room.

"Earl grey, the usual." I told Elias. He bowed and went to make me some. I took a book blindly from the small bookshelf and studied the it. Never shall I fall, A romance novel. Now I did not really enjoy this story as much as I do with the others but, in the end I got satisfied. The reason why I did not enjoyed this much is because of what the protagonist could have done to prevent losing the love of his life and respect of all his friends and family, blinded by the lies he has been telling himself. Though, he was an obnoxious young man, his love for everyone overcame and practically died saving everyone.

The reason why the book is called "Never Shall I Fall" is not because of his love for his lover, but because he promised never to fall for his lies again. Cliche, I know but I'm satisfied that he eventually became a hero. Another cliche that I liked.

I flipped a few pages and saw something that wasn't there before. A letter had been inserted in the book. It looks as if it was much old and crippled. Feeling  curious, I took the letter and began to read:

  Dear Victrina,

Greetings dear sister, I'm excited to tell you that I am having my third child! I'm almost finally through with the prophecy. Four children! I am to have four children to pass down my reign, but due to some mishaps with dear Nathaniel, We happen to have a baby boy. He sure did a good job on going rough. He hasn't been introduced to the public yet because our dear can't properly handle the reign yet. I want your son to meet him though, someone he can be expressed freely.

                                       Rose Liz.

This was a letter to mother, how did this get here? I never knew that Aunt Rose had a reign. Is this why his name is kept private?

"Earl grey, Lord Earlhart." I was brought back to my senses when I heard Elias' voice. He stood there holding a silver tray with a teacup on it. "Yes, thank you." He set it down on the small table beside me.

I took the teacup and took a sip. While I did this, Elias eyed the book, "Never Shall I Fall? Lord Earlhart, that has been with your mother since you were very young."

"How do you know of that?" I asked, immediately he looked troubled. "U-um, I saw her with that before." He stuttered. Possible, he has been with me since I was a small child, eventhough I'm older than him.

I nodded taking another sip. I took a glance at the large window at my side, I spotted a carriage heading toward my home. I noticed the emblem on top of the carriage. That obnoxious woman.

"Elias, hand me his letter." I told him, he didn't hesitate to follow my order immediately.

Oh, what did you ask me of cousin?
