Words that just seem to float,
Orbiting around you, yet seem out of reach,
They flicker in and out of sight.
Before they blur and then they vanish,
Leaving you empty,
Tearing at you slowly,
They seem to claw at you wildly,
Until your finally shattering,
Breaking you once and for all,
Killing you and bringing you back to life,
Leaving you breathless,
But you can never stop,
Your an addict,
And they are the drugs that send you obliviousness,
They are the poison,
That slowly seeps into your brain and destroys you,
Until you are nothing but a corpse,
With a beating heart.
YOU ARE READING
Void.
RandomPoetry & extracts from books I'll never write. This traumatizing collection of extracts were written when I was 12 - don't say I didn't warn ya'll.
