*jo's pov*

Me and bubbles were unpacking and hayes and Aaron were on there bed. hey guys wanna go to the pool mahogany said peeping her head in the door. bubbles looked nervous did you bring your shorts I mouthed to her she nodded. the boys looked confused even though they couldn't tell what we were saying. I grabbed my blue bikini with white poka dots and headed to the bath room wear I slipped it on. I saw Beth bent down by picking out her bathing suit. I bent down next to her and whispered to her Bethany you'll be fine and you can trust them they are very nice. the reason Bethany wears shorts is because her dad cut her when she was ten and she has to get stitches that was the way that police found out about her abusive father. she has a long scar from right above her hip to little above her mid thigh. that's why she always wears high waisted shorts.

*Bethany's pov*

I was really nervous that someone would see my scar I was alway insecure about my past. I grabbed my plain black bikini and my tie die nike shorts. Jo some what cheered me up with our little talk. I went into the bathroom when Jo was done and slipped my bathing suit on. I walked out and everyone was ready. we grabbed towels and headed to the pool. once we got to the pool the rest of the boys and lox were already there. I put down my towel and Jo and Aaron were already jn the pool. I started to walk down the pool steps when hayes said

" wait you forgot to take off your shorts"

" I keep them on"

"Why"

"Umm uh because I can"

"Bethy I know your lying you can tell me"

I looked at Jo and she nodded signaling it was okay to show the boys. I slipped off the shorts revealing my scar.

"Oh Bethany I'm sorry"

"It's okay"

The whole room filled with gasps and I'm sorrys.

"it's fine Im just really shy about it"

I ran out of the pool and back to the hotel room. tears filled my eyes. there was so many bad memories that the scar held. I feel bad now just leaving hays. I reached the hotel room went inside and laid face down on the bed. I felt someone start to rub my back. I sat up and saw Jo. it's okay Beth everyone went back to Cameron's room your fine okay your dad's in jail your fine I promise let's go to there room and you can tell them she said. I nodded cleaned myself up. we started to walk to cams room. as soon as we opened up the door hayes ran and I engulfed me in a hug. I'm so sorry babe I really didn't mean to cross the line or any thing he said. it's okay really it's fine I decided to tell you all why I ran out. I said. everyone looked in my direction. well when I was 5 my dad started beating me it continued until I was 10. one day he took a knife and cut down my side. it was really serous cut so I managed to call 911 and I got stitches and explained what happened. Jo being my best friend adopted me we shared a love for music made a YouTube channel and here we are today. I said with a sigh leaning on hayes. he but his hands around my waist. the room once again filled with I didn't knows I'm sorrys and that's horribles. it's fine guys I'm happy now I said with a half fake smile. I'm going back the my room bai guys I said with a wave. I'm coming with you hayes said. as we walked out I herd one if the boys scream get some hayes. hayes flipped them off then we ran to our room. we went on his laptop and watched you tube until my eyes felt heavy. I slowly drifted off to sleep snuggled into hayes chest. his arm around my waist rubbing my hipbone. I love you princess he whispered the.
